If they made enough for con-goers AND online orders (which they do anyways), should have been able to suffice the demand.

The total ES is split between the two. They tend to make enough to cover the amount wanted but the point of the Comic-Con ex is to be variants or something that can be missed. Its not worth it for the _____ing to do otherwise.

Just like the Mouser from last year? That was available for the past few months after supposedly being sold out, also not a variant at all, a completely new sculpt. It is clear SS wants to make enough for everyone and es doesn't mean much.
I understand that all this talk doesn't mean **** to SS, just conversing. :wave

Also isn't all their orders something that can be missed? it is all about demand, if popular enough the item up for pre order can be sold out in minutes. These con exclusives aren't really even exclusives anymore anyone anywhere can buy them, defeats the purpose of only getting them at the cons, and I am well aware of what the cons have to offer, I have been to sdcc at least 9 times, some items are religiously offered at the con the way it should be, but others like SS, Hasbro, etc can sell them on their site as well, so why not have something different than just a repaint/variant.

You're missing the whole point. A major release that everybody wants isn't a good SDCC Exclusive. Con Exclusives have an ES that's a fraction of what the regular ES' are because it's just meant to be a nice nod for con goers and non-attendees, to complement a collector's collection, not be a main part of it. This fits that bill perfectly, just like CCC did because for people like you, he's an easy pass not being a regular release anyway, and for people like me, he compliments the other ninja figures I have.

The mouser wasn't a variant but it wasn't something so "important" that it required a normal release. SS usually makes enough with the ES to make sure con goers get theirs and non. As far as the talk not meaning anything to them thats not true at all.

Well, of course none of these items are something we must own. Yes, they're not as exclusive as some items are or as they used to be. Well, thats good for you this will be my 7th so you got me by a couple. Honestly, I don't care if others have a chance to get something from Comic-Con that I also have a chance to get. I'm at the show seeing stuff in person, hanging with friends, making new ones, etc I don't need to feel important and say I got something you don't. The reason to step away from it being a repaint/variant isn't worth it at least from my pov.

:exactly::exactly::goodpost::goodpost:

i have the ccc, just saying what would sell better, a new character or a rehash?

and usually people want the exc items just as much if not more than a regular release, just depends what it is, I went to the con for many years purposely buying exc to sell, and they did sell sometimes 200-300%more than what it was purchased for, but companies that sell online now instead of just at the show aren't exclusives at all, they just happen to sell them at the same time as the con.

I have plenty of exc toys/comics sketchbooks art prints etc that is a main part of my collection as anything else that in my "regular" collection.

Both seem to sell quite equally.

That explains it you're mad these companies have hurt your ability to flip. :exactly:

To me the mouser is just as important, important enough to where I bought two, and wanting a third.

I am also past the point of getting something others don't, I buy what I want to buy, period. So why not have something that will sell better? If this was an Eel or a Crimson Guard, would that not sell better than a different colored Ninja Viper we already got? Obviously SS is going to do what they are going to do with or without the consent of the general fan base, so I realize this is all pointless, like I said just conversing.

Doubt that they sell equally, in all honesty you really think a crimson guard would sell the same as a Green ninja viper? That is ridiculous :slap

I stopped going to the con after I moved, I slowed down buying and selling because that is all I did, and didn't get to enjoy the show as much as I would have liked, plus to make a real profit you need to spend ALOT, I wasn't doing it for a few hundred bucks, I paid for my trip and all the items I wanted and then some, not my problem people were willing to pay more for it, I just got it to those that wanted it that did not have the ability to get those items.

Thats good for you I guess. I'm not sure how many people really felt they were a major thing to have. If not done as a comic con ex it could have just been am ex with another character to be honest. Its nothing vital.

Then I guess Comic-Con Ex not being super "exclusive isn't that big of a deal then? :lol These items sell just find and most items come back around for a while so cares. I think you feel its pointless cause you can't flip stuff as easily anymore.

I guarantee they would sell equally. These comic-con items will sell out and at somepoint have a few come back with either hoption. Thinking otherwise is kind of naive on your part. :lol

You're a flipper and thats cool. Its your thing. Just don't be pissed these companies have cut you off at the knees.

blah blah blah. back to the Viper Ninja. no one else thinks the snake pattern on the sword is cool?

____. I was out of the Joe line except for the Ninjas and of course whenever the Baroness and Destro come out and of course they do a Ninja as the SDCC exclusive. It's going to be an expensive summer...
