I took mine out briefly but didn't even attempt posing or standing because frankly I'm completely disappointed in this figure. When you feel the clothing, it just oozes cheapness.

Here's a pic of mine:

Man that FACE.

Looks like the "Bold & The Beautiful" version of Snake - geezus!

To think I nearly ordered 2 of these - and I'm now hoping mine turns up damaged so I can get a refund.

Sideshow can't do ANYTHING right lately.

Lmaooo! It actually looks more like Ridge Forrester than Snake :rotfl.

I'm getting mine in several weeks, but I'll probably return it. I'm really disappointed by what I've seen so far from the pics.

Thanks to everyone, who has posted reviews and pictures, by the way! :duff

One thing; he is better in person. He's not going to blow anyone away. He's an average figure at best.
He's not photogenic.
I'll pick up another once he's discounted. I'll also pick up another jacket to weather it.

Thanks for the pictures Rubio &.jackthe ripper:clap I think with a few mods this can become better than average. Heck many figures need something extra to improve them.

I honestly don't know what to think, the figure looks decent but the issues with the boots and paint apps makes me wanna cancel it. I know we were all expecting a train wreck but even Drake's clothes and accessories were great. I don't wanna spend $170 on a regular figure when I can get one of those Second Batch Dredds for almost the same price.

Don't let me change your mind, but he's a decent enough of a figure to go on the shelf. I wouldn't give up on him yet. Get him and if you don't want him send him back to SS. Or, wait and get him later when he's discounted so you don't feel like you're throwing away money.

SSC can't get the realistic painting on the face at all. Looks far too smooth looking. They really need to improve this as well as the clothing to be up there with other manufacturers.

I really feel they are being overtaken by several other companies like ThreeZero and Star Ace. Perhaps dropping their 1/6 line and focusing on Premium formats and other statues is a better way to go. There is just too much competition in the 1/6 market these days.

Thanks bro don't worry, I actually flexed this one I'm one payment away. But I'm not to experienced on 1/6 since almost every figure I get need to sell it for one reason or another but I don't wanna spend all this money for cheap looking figure.

By the way, Sideshow joins the ranks of Hot Toys and others when it comes to crap glue. I'm having to re-glue several of the 'nubs' that secure the guns. Getting frustrated. Magnets woulda been easier.

Well where SS excels is in customers service--something Ht's is woefully lacking.

however, this figure has been in collectors hands barely a day and we can start a list of likely problems/isolated incidents:

1) wonky boots
2) crap glue
3) poor stitching on undershirt

The pants restrict posing. Snake never really did dynamic movement, but the pants do make movement difficult.

Nice shot. I could ignore all the problems with this thing... if it actually looked like Kurt...

Honestly it looks like a cheap $40 Neca figure.

Yep...

I was considering three... but **** that. I'm getting one and calling it a day.

flat paint, restricted articulation, ass crack

I understand that a lot of people will want to pose Snake without his jacket, since he only wore it in the beginning of the movie. But these 'muscle bodies' severely limit articulation. I understand they look better (I suppose), but I don't like the fact that his elbows can barely go 90 degrees. It's not like it's a problem with just Snake, though. Just saying.

It look's serviceable, certainly not a home run.

Probably on par with my BCS Tom Baker, from pics alone. Reserve judgement until it arrives next week.

I really love the BCS Baker though, huge nostalgia factor & Snake fits in that category too - but with Snake at half the price of that figure I think I have something solid to mod a bit to bring it up a few notches.

Two shots all geared up. Slightly different angles. Slightly different lighting.

I really do like him.
