1/6 SSC Snake Plissken Figure

I don't like the arms on this body. It's got those ratchet joints. If you had the Star-Spangled Capt. you know what I'm talking about. It clicks into position; meaning you can't get it to just swivel smoothly. Took the jacket off and the black shirt on mine doesn't have all the fringe around the neck. The jacket is actually nicely tailored. Very nice stitching. It's a very soft and pliable material; easy to work with.

Oh yeah, watch that gun. I took it out and the barrel fell out along with the bullets. Found all the parts, but it caught me off guard.

I really do like him.

Actually in thos shots you can see a little Kurt. How you manage to stand him up straight?? Did you heat out the boots??

Heated them like a mofo lol!!

The right boot didn't hold the change long, but long enough for a few shots. The first pic really looks like Snake to me.

Hate to do it, but I'm gonna post it again. I'll have fun in low-light with this figure, methinks.



Pure white definitely is not Snake's color lol!

Interesting that they included bullets, SSC didn't include them with Hawk or Budd. Maybe they should've included a bag with some extras with Snake just in case you lose them.

I could forgive everything if it has a cool looking sculpt of the actual actor to justify the price tag a little.

I don't think a repaint will help accuracy with the head really. Maybe at some point we can get a interest thread going on a brand new head.

Yeah with 1:6 revolvers it's common for the cylinder to to slide off, I was just worried the barrels might be faulty.

Those last shots make him look really good actually rubio. You can definitely see a better Russell likeness there. I actually think owning this fig would be quite fun.

I've paid more for a lot worse.

I agree, tilting the head down is a must for him. And honestly, every figure I have needs a special pose to truly bring out the life and likeness of a piece so I expect no different with this guy.

Been waiting for the piece since it was announced way back. Pre ordered the ex on day one and I still don't see what all the fuss is about. I could take numerous pictures of my hot toys with high/strong lighting and they would look like crap. As for the head sculpt we all know how that goes. I remember Hot toys resident evil, babydoll, wolverine, terminator, captain america, thor head sculpts all looked great till in hand. I bought the dx indy back in the day because I'm a huge fan and I'll keep snake because I love the movie. The head might not look 100% but lets be honest even with hot toys alot of there head sculpts are off also. And Like evil face said "looks good enough" and from him thats a thumbs up. Sideshow snake plissken *EVIL FACE APPROVED*
