I think the figure turned out pretty bad, but not hopelessly bad. Looks like he needs work done from top to bottom, no way is he gonna look "decent" out of the box. I guess what's done is done, no way going around how incomplete this figure is. I'll get him at $150 tops. :lol

so youll save $10, gotcha.

Yes they fit. Ball size is about the same. Skin tone might be different.

Alright good. I guess maybe whenever HT does another line of TTM, I'll pick one up. I wouldn't worry too much about skin tone, seeing how this right out of the box is completely mismatched between head, body and hands.

A lot of folks seem to be ok with this figure and for them I'm glad.

For myself, having to basically fix, paint, or rework every aspect of this figure just seems ridiculous. Looks like I'll be finding out about Sideshow's return policy very shortly.

Be careful they don't try the "they are all like that" ploy as they may use that try to get YOU to pay for the shipping each way.

Agreed but this figure is so off it would require a ton of changes just to make it look like snake. The first being an entirely new headsculpt because this one definitely doesn't look like Kurt Russell.

Well, if you're not satisfied with the final product, you'll have to pay shipping to return it to them, and they'll refund you the purchase price of the item. Very few e-commerce stores will refund shipping costs for "customer satisfaction" issues.

Sideshow has posted final product photos, and we've seen reviews from a variety of sources. If you don't think it looks good, you might as well cancel now, so you don't have to deal with returning it. It will save both you and Sideshow the hassle.

That ZC Toys body is perfect, it's a dead ringer to the TTM19. I might pick up a few of these for my customs since I've been using some bad quality narrow shoulder bodies.

It definitely would do the job for Snake.

After a couple of days of checking him over I'm okay with him. I've found other issues like the post for the extra hands are finished slightly different so they are rather difficult to put into the peg hole. There isn't a gun holding hand I like. The head has stained the neck. Positives none of the accessories are painted wonky. I'm with Swedish if you don't like it cancel and move on. I think there is enough he to be satisfied. He looks enough like Kurt to my eye that I'm happy. Could it have been better? Sure. I don't understand some comment about how the clothes are cheap. At least on mine it's inline with other companies in this market. Are there mistakes? Sure. The jackets the wrong color, but the quality is there. I'm glad SS went with minimal weathering because if you look at the movie prop that thing is eaten to bits. This gives me an opportunity to beat it up as much as I want. SS would have been given to the lions if it was overly done. I'm working on fixing the lapels and we will see how successful I am. Here's a natural light picture. I'll stick to he is very difficult to photograph, but there will be better people to do that once this is in more hands. He isn't as plasticky as the pics portray. Under normal viewing I have no problem with him.

:eek worst pic yet. And that's natural conditions you say? For the first time I am actually worried. Oh well will have mine in a few days

The arms sound disappointing but I should of expected it. '66 Robin is probably my least favourite figure and a big part of that is just how restrictive the arms are to pose. I guess that's the trade off of having exposed arms.

So is this in-stock at sideshow, has everyone who ordered got shipping notices or is it a case of they shipped a small batch out? Also are people receiving the exclusive or the reg or both, I only ask cause this still says PO on sideshow site.

I receive my exclusive on Monday.

That's what I wanted to know, thanks:hi5:

Just dumped my rewards points on the Exclusive, total out of pocket shipped 46.59:yess: I figure its worth it at that price and there's not likely to be another Snake Plissken 1/6 figure on the market again for at least another 5-10 years if ever.

Thanks for posting that, Juan. It's a good review. Since he didn't mention anything about the boots, I'll guess I can just assume I got a bad pair.

Also, I think that if the painting technique that was used on the stubble area of his custom was applied to Sideshow's Snake, it would make a world of difference.

Disagree, that photo makes me glad I ordered this--eye of the beholder I guess. I can work with the scar, jacket and body. I agree that this will likely be it for 'Snake' at this scale-. That looks good.

Call sideshow and ask for a replacement on the boots. I have seen people asking sideshow for parts before.

Yeah, I'm totally not worried about it. Sideshow is always great about that kind of thing. I'll ask for a replacement shirt, also. Although I might wait a few days until other people start getting their figures, to compare.

Snake passed customs in Sydney already. Pity tomorrow is a public holiday here or he'd be delivered.
