That will be interesting to see, a time when the tech is cheap and small or large company's alike can produce the sculpts this using scans of the actors heads where there will be no need for sculptors anymore( at least with new films) and with the tech being able to print out in color factory paint may become less of an issue.

Well, 3D printings is great and all--but you need the skill to paint these or the same machine that Hot Toys uses--yes they use a machine, if you look closely enough you can see pixels on some of the recent paint apps. I will always appreciate something that has a human touch--imperfections be damned.

I was expecting some cool mods but damn thats really great.
Sadly i wont probably be able to benefit from Rays experience since by the time it hits my country he will probably have stopped offering mods.

Also if someone could buy it from me and ship it that would be great.
I just want to avoid sideshows fedex as its sure that i will get hit with taxes.

Quick question for those who repainted the eyes--did you remove them prior to painting??? If so how???

I don't think it would be worth the hassle to remove the eye before painting... I just repainted the whole thing. If you decide to paint the rest of the head the eyepatch pops out easily so you don't have to worry about getting any stray paint on it

With Drake you do since the faceplate distorts the shape of the head, but Plissken doesn't have that issue, so just leave the plate where it is and repaint.

I have to admit that I panicked a couple months ago and cancelled Snake. After seeing some of the good in hand pics I just re-ordered and will have him next week. I have to have Plissken in my collection and for the $120 shipped (with RP's) he's more than worth it. Hell, even for the full price he seems to be a pretty solid figure. I do plan on beating up the jacket a bit though.
