THIS SUCKS! What is their damn Facebook page. I'm going out there. All I see is Sideshow freaks. Isn't there an official page for them?

Something has to be up with SS, Keaton PF just got delayed again. (Probably other stuff also, someone said Superman did to)

This isn't a ground breaking figure. Going to be going on 15 months for a pretty much basic figure.

At this rate Beetlejuice will be in five years.

Someone should keep track of the delay months and then maybe throw it back at them? Though rushing it could release a bad figure with a bad paint job right?

Is not but at least an explanation of the delay because I already paid most of this figure and if I cancel they will charge a cancellation fee.

Did you order from SSC? I have read several other forum members state that SSC will waive the cancellation fee in situations like these where an item has been delayed several months. Most recently I recall some collectors cancelling the Hot Toys RoboCop and getting their NRD back because of the delays. If you are considering cancelling then I recommend contacting SSC customer service.

They need to drop the NRD now, or just stop delaying, it making their company look really bad now. I don't even think Darklord Dave could defend these delays. Is this something new or common with them?

Odd, he's still listed as shipping in December :huh Guess we can expect that to change; so I went from having 3 figures from Sideshow (Hoth Han, Snake and R2) shipping in December to none :lol

Yet this year only SSC Batman got voted FOTY, I wanted to add this guy if he came out good.

Well, at least it's not just Snake. Maybe it's a production problem across the board for all SSC figures.

Yeah, would have been nice.

I've only gotten 5 new figures from Sideshow this year; Cobra Commander v2, Darth Vader Deluxe, Protytpe Fett, Grievous and the Probe Droid. Grievous could probably make it on the list of best figures; he's very impressive, but his complexity makes him a bit of pain in the ass to do a lot of posing with :lol The rest were solid releases, but with some issues or maybe not quite worth what I paid for them.

Yeah, although of my orders Snake seems to be getting pushed back the most. I hope it's due to some kind of QC overhaul, but generally delays don't translate into better figures. At least not better than what we usually get from Sideshow.

That probe droid caught my eye, it does look pretty good.

Definitely. Delayed figures, and rushed figures can end up looking exactly the same. I just pray, we get something that even remotely resembles the prototype teaser shots at this point.

Or at the very least the pics from the last con Snake was shown at, he didn't look to much like that proto but was good for SS standards.

Thanks! I just sent them a message asking for an explanation. I for one don't care about delays so much as how they are communicated. The fact that the release date has been changed some six times is getting ridiculous. If Sideshow knew this figure would not be out in 2014, they should have just said so instead of leading people by the nose. Very unprofessional and definitely a reflection on what they think of their consumer base. I guess they think we're just all idiots who will wait for our "toys". Not so. If they don't give me a satisfactory answer, I'm going to demand a complete refund on the money already pulled. I'm thinking about filing a complaint with the attorney general in California. They clearly have been leading people on and have been holding allot of money without any proof they have manufactured this product. This is completely unacceptable. They need to come forward and explain why they are mishandling the consumer so badly here.

It's a very cool piece... it's very light which makes it feel like it's not worth the money; but it's a very well done piece and being light means the pole he's on won't wilt over time. He'd have been priced perfectly at $185, but beggars can't be choosers and I'm glad I picked him up.

Yep, that production sample looked good... not incredible, but certainly good enough.

I don't think you should take drastic measures but if you really don't like what they are doing, shouldn't you report something with the better business bureau? or is that only for employees?

The company has taken my money and not delivered a product based on release dates that have been changed numerous times without any explanation from the company as to what is happening. Six months after it was suppose to be released, there is no evidence it has been manufactured. I think there is a serious deception on the consumer that needs to be addressed. If the company has no desire to step up and explain why they are not delivering a product then they need to refund all money collected without any penalty to the consumer. I should not lose a dime on this transaction because they are choosing to be indifferent as to when or even if the product is going to be released. I think people in this hobby have gotten too complacent with this attitude that it's okay for the company to take a percentage of their money if a figure stays on hold for an indefinite amount of time. The company has an obligation under federal law to produce and deliver a product as advertised which has been paid for. It's called the Fair Credit Billing Act. If you do not receive the product as advertised, you are under no obligation to lose any money on the transaction. This is not a situation where you changed your mind during the terms of the transaction. This is an item that was promised for delivery months ago and has never been shown to the public or mailed out to anyone. No one should be left to wait an indefinite period of time to receive a product because the company is not capable of controlling the conditions for which it gets made. If they can't get the figure made as advertised, then they need to refund all the money collected until they are able to make competent statements about what they are selling.
