That looks nice. I wont be doing anything to my figure. I'm just not into doing so much work on a figure. I'm probably going to be the only who's not going to modify the figure, and leave it untouched. Anyway, I'm getting my figure tomorrow. Sorry to the guys that are getting it later.

I will not be doing any swapping of items that's for sure. I think he looks great as he is honestly. I loved Fury Road but not by any stretch of the imagination to care about tiny details on this figure for accuracy. He looks like Hardy as Max and has a sawed off shotgun so I am fine. I honestly do not like the look of the AF leather at all. It looks "spongy" or like the sweat pants one of the homeless dudes in my neighborhood wears - more like dirt/poop encrusted pajamas than dirty leather from what I have seen but each to their own. I am really surprised anyone is talking about swapping sculpts, he looks more like Hardy-Max than 90% of the HT Star Wars line looks like who they are supposed to be, that is for sure. My gripe is still the waves of cool-whip type shapes to the hair but I can live with it.

I like it as it is to. I like the clothing on the AF. I mean Max was practically a homeless guy, moving more often than a homeless guy though. The colors of the clothing on AF is the reason I like clothing; the texture on the clothes, not as much as I like the color that is on the clothes. I to think the VTS head sculpt is one of the best head sculpts of Tom hardy. Next best one is probably the ML head sculpt. Like someone has said before on here, the hair looks bad in very close pictures of the figure. The hair doesnt look too bad in normal figure looking distance.

Received VTS box today and immediately worked on my Max. Personally, I think headsculpt looks ok. It lacks paint job on facial hair and hair sculpture sharpness compared to promo pics. Still prefer Eleven sculpt and waiting for it to arrive. Here is my Max (sorry for my crappy phone photos):



Shoulder pad might take some time to modify. Leg brace from Fullmetal is on installments.

Hot Toys, Damtoys/VTS, Soldier Story, DID, ACI use universal wrist peg type, meaning their hands are compatible

AF leg brace is only a single-sided brace. the movie brace is double sided like vts.

i'm pretty sure Damtoys & VTS peg is longer on the wrist side.

The peg that goes to the hand/paw is universal. The peg that goes to the wrist is not. Most hands from companies that I mentioned are all compatible. So to be more specific, hands can go separately while pegs go along with body most of the time.
