I am wondering whether they will use the Hobbit base body for Yoda? In any case, I will be happy to buy a 1/6 Yoda from SSC. I didn't get the Medicom Yoda due to lack of articulation for that figure.

NEVER!
Sorry guys, we just couldn't make the body work. Until that happens, we've put the Star Wars 1:6 line on hold. In the meantime, check out the incredible work our artists are doing on the premium format figures, dioramas and our new LSBs!

Quiet you!

No jinxies....:chew

Excellent..no unileg! By this I mean it must have 2 articulated legs...a feature that was missing from Yoda 3 3/4" figures.

I'm sure there is no fear with a Sideshow version.

The Hobbit body would be too tall, especially without extensive retooling. Yoda's always had extremely short limbs.

Yoda should be about 2/3 the height of the hobbits.

I think much shorter. Eitherway the hobbit body won't work at all. Yoda needs to be made from scratch. The torso wouldn't work anyway.

This is probably pretty close to correct scale.

There should really be no huge difficulty to this. Its just a 4" or 5" figure for crying out loud. All they need to do is a replicate Toybiz super-articulated Gollum from like 6-7 years ago give him a good head sculpt and put clothes on him and Ta-dah!

You really can't do a Star Wars line justice without venturing into aliens and creatures. One thing that sets Star Wars apart from other sci-fi is the variety of creatures in it, if you had all humanoids and robots you'd be missing out on one of the coolest aspects of the saga.

I started with them when they had a Civil War line. That was the initial line that got ?????canned for SW. I wish they'd keep all the cool lines going. It's easy. Just expand....and hire me:D Will work for toys...I mean collectibles.

If Yoda is the same scale as Medi's I will be happy.

If he's more articulated, comes with a saber & can defend himself against Dooku, I'll be happy.
