That said, I can see him being the ESB version solely based on the fact that next year's the 30th anny. I'm just wondering what exclusive they'll pack in to go with the Es of 1980.

But I hope they're not expecting to charge $69.99 for a 4" figure.

I'm not opposed to getting both OT and PT versions of Yoda in one box for that price though. In that case, the exclusive could be Yoda's orange PT chair.

I dunno. I wouldn't mind dropping $130 or so for a 2-pack of both the OT and PT versions. I think that would be the best way for Sideshow to do it. IMO the chair would be a fail for the PT Ex without having chairs for the other council members. I'd rather them do something like the torch he ganked from Luke for the ESB as there's reallly nothing that ISN'T mandatory for the PT version and they wouldn't dare do the saber as the Ex.

Please have more articulation than Medicoms.....

Medicom Yoda is more sufficient for a representation of the OT. However a more articulated version for the PT is mandatory.

Yes and no. If all you wan t is him standing around poking luke with his gimmer stick, sure, it's fin e. But if you wan t him sittin g, or balanced on. Luke's foot, you need more articulation .
Odds are both pt an d ot yoda will use the same body also.

Which is also promising for a solid ESB showcase at SDCC 2010, get Yoda, Boba Fett, I'd rather it not be ESB Vader as I want ROTJ first but ESB would still be cool, and a Snowtrooper, Hoth versions of the heroes. I've got a feeling the rule of even years being great for 1/6 showcasing is going to hold up.

a ver HIJOS DE PUTA! What else do you have to show us or release before Yoda? One of the most important characters, and you told us in this answer that we should have him in some month of the 2011 (we are still, days or not, in the 2009). That answer is bull****!

Sideshow, this prove my point that because you now sell a LOT more than some years ago (Luke Jedi, Mace Windu, Qui Gon), you dont give us the figure we realy want to have to complete our shelves. Obviously I will buy yo characters like Greedo.. but give us Yoda first!!!!!!!!!

Take care very well of the SW licence. With this type of answers o annouces I REALLY HOPE that HOT TOYS GAIN THE SW LINE.
Because completist or not with their lines, at least Hot Toys will release ALL the important characters.

The PPO Will no be in the SDCC... it will be at the Celebration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I doubt that Sideshow will give us Boba ESB version this year, they will give us first the ROTJ to complete the Jabba envio.
