1/6th Greedo and Cantina set

I for one just never understood Greedo shooting first. Now, I'm no marksman, but even I could hit a guy sitting across the table from me. I could even get him right between the eyes I bet. Greedo must be the galaxy's worst bounty hunter if he couldn't hit Han from that close.

It was unnecessary, but it doesn't bother me as much as other changes. For example, for the theatrical SE's, they added a scream to Luke when he fell down the reactor shaft in ESB. Oooh, that bugged me so much, not the least because I recognized it as The Emperor's scream at the end of ROTJ. Thank God they removed that for the DVD's.

Anyway, now they shoot at the same time, and I think Han moves his head ever so slightly to avoid the hit. If he hadn't, he'd be dead. So Greedo's aim is not necessarily that bad, just his timing. His poor, poor timing.

It does make more sense now since Boba is still a Clone of Jango, but I too like the original voice and line delivery of Boba better. If only Morrison had delivered the lines exactly the same way, Boba might not seem so changed.

I don't understand how Boba's voice being the same makes more sense, accents aren't inherited they are environmental, but anyway Hans shoots first, my biggest issues with SE are Jabba scenes ANH, Boba' Voice & the Shaw deletion, It seems a strange morality tale now that if your nasty & turn good you get rejuveinated (anakin) where if your good you keep your old cruddy body ( yoda & Ben) mmmmm Back on topic Greedo looks great

I'm with shocktrooper_au. There's no excuse for any of it. It's all wrong.

On topic, I'm surprised more people aren't getting the cantina set. Seems that every mention of Greedo over the years brought a chorus of, "They have to make the booth too!" I wonder if the same would happen if they did a Falcon cockpit.

Well, I am sorry for being selfish. But I have to admit to being a little enthusiastic with the seeming moderate interest in Greedo. It gives me even more certainty that my WL for the exclusive will convert and I am thinking that I would like to get a couple more of the table/chairs Cantina environment sets.

Yep...and if interest wanes much more...then the exclusive showing up on Second chance won't even surprise me.

Seems like the lamest exclusive I have seen in a long time, but Greedo looks good even though the material his body suit was made of was like some sort of shiny material in the movie and not just cloth. The cantina environment to me looks bad, table looks too small and the seats look too low for one sixth. I bet the figures will look slightly odd sitting that low. If you look through SST's photos of it they do not have any from the side which might indicate they don't like that angle.

You are not alone here. I so very much want this figure. I am planning to get 2 Cantina environment sets, reason being... its rather incomplete to have only one chair on each side, clearly Han has another chair on his left.

I'm actually more excited for Greedo and the cantina enviro then I am for the emperor and his throne.
