Sorry, I only got to look at him in the box. From the beginning of December until Christmas, anything I get has to get wrapped and go under the tree. :monkey2

Me in such a situation will probably get drunk before Christmas, open the present and blame everything on the drinking.:lol

Pics are here... but I'm not sure if these are the real deal as I got them off an ebay seller.

Nah, I like the molded hand. Bendy hands would just break down over time.

I've had some Dragon figures with bendy hands for like 10 years with no break down. I think they use silicon, which won't break down like latex rubber (never saw bendy hands made of latex).

That's disappointing if the hand is molded to the gun! Why not just give him bendy hands, for Christ's sake!?

Sean

1) we knew that for a almost a year now.

2) why is it disappointing considering the hands are removable, you get a gun without the fingers wrapped around it and hands without the gun in it.

non issue.

1) I wasn't aware that the hands seem to be static.

2) Because it'd be nice to have bendy fingers. Especially considering the damn prices of these things.

Personally I don't want to have to switch out hands for different poses.

Jeez...

pop out. pop in. this isn't rocket science. bendy hands its a game of open the hand, get the gun in, put 1 finger on the trigger, bend the rest. etc. its easier and better to just have it swap in and out.

how would one get Greedo's suction cup fingertips through the trigger? SST made the right choice.

Yeah, the molded gun hand was smart. You have to swap hands out on other figures to hold certain weapons, SS just made it so the gun was already in hand ready to go.

And here I thought it was rocket science! Well, color me corrected!

Again, I just like the figures I buy to be as close to accurate as possible, and as posable as possible, without swapping out limbs. Be apologists for shortcuts all you want, I'd prefer my pricey collectables done right. And for those who don't like bendy hands, they could include the rigid gun-in-hand hand, plus a pair of bendies (since it comes with a separate gun). Easy solution.

Also, looking at the photos, the suction cup finger tips seem to be smaller than the trigger guard. Unless you're 100 years old or you have fingers like Greedo yourself, you should be able to put his finger though the trigger guard without any problem.

visual accuracy and playability are usually contradictory. bendy hands don't look real at all, and usually have these big gaps between each finger.
