Again, I just like the figures I buy to be as close to accurate as possible, and as posable as possible, without swapping out limbs. Be apologists for shortcuts all you want, I'd prefer my pricey collectables done right. And for those who don't like bendy hands, they could include the rigid gun-in-hand hand, plus a pair of bendies (since it comes with a separate gun). Easy solution.

Let's be honest here, you just like posing your figures flipping each other off. ;)

have you guys ever noticed that none of sideshow's figures have bendy hands? why start crying about it now? might as well complain about the seperate lit and unlit lightsabers next. why not have a removable blade?

1) I wasn't aware that the hands seem to be static.

2) Because it'd be nice to have bendy fingers. Especially considering the damn prices of these things.

Personally I don't want to have to switch out hands for different poses.

Jeez...

Sean

Oh boy. Dude, almost every figure comes with separate hands. :slap

Yeah, the molded gun hand was smart. You have to swap hands out on other figures to hold certain weapons, SS just made it so the gun was already in hand ready to go.

It's actually not really molded, the gun is apart from the hand itself. The index finger is glued in and the palm is glued. So technically you get two blasters if you really try.

Bendy hands suck, IMO.

Right. I don't get all the _____ing about the hands. I am not into the ratcheting body and the stands are a bit much. the crotch stand is odd for Greedo, like the wire they used is too hard. Also I am sure it's accurate but I am not a big fan of the material used for Greedo's jumpsuit, it's like parachute pants (for those of you old enough to remember). But like I said before the paint is really good. The eyes are awesome. I'd give it a solid B.

All I said was that bendy hands would be nicer so that you can change the pose on the thing without digging extra limbs from the box. And rigid hands always detract from the figure (one of the major flaws of True Type bodies, which are otherwise some of the better bodies on the market).

And yeah, I know all SS figures come with extra hands. :slap They also come with crappy bodies and, too often, less than ideal headsculpts. With the aliens, and with so much pressure from other 1/6 scale companies now, I'd hoped Sideshow was stepping things up a notch and adding a bit of "deluxe" to the figures.

I really fail to see why it'd be such a tragedy if Greedo had bendy fingers (and plenty of bendy hands look as "real" as rigid hands). You'd think that no one here had fingers themselves. I think typing is more complex than putting a gun in the hand of a doll. And you all manage that.

I still like the idea of posing all my figures flipping each other off.

Sean

I was in favor of bendy fingers when Greedo was first announced.

I thought another idea would be, a molded hand with gun triggering finger where the gun can be slipped in and out of the hand. (I know its not easy with the long fingers.)

It did be more realistic looking with gaps between hand and gun, instead of a single piece of molded plastic with the gun stuck to the hand.

word is that the Greedo DX will feature the FFBS (flexible finger bending system) instead of the PERS (parallel eye rolling system) for obvious reasons.

There are quite a few Hot Toys figures that feature FFS(as in FFS why have nt they made this yet???

Damn those pics from ABCExpress look killer... Greedo looks to be one of the best figures yet from the SW line :rock :rock :rock

I might be one of the only people that are hoping HT foray into SW is just limited to a figure or two. I'm assuming/hoping Chewbacca will be just about the only figure we see... Maybe the droids, should SS not want o tackle those two.

I'm thinking that it will be more like a collaboration on products and not SS just telling HT to produce figures on their own .

Well, HT has helped SS in the past, most recently with the Armor body so I'm thinking it will be something more than a simple collaboration but not quite at the level of HT producing any and all SW figures. Some where in the middle is what I'm thinking.

Yeah in the middle of my wallet.
