It's a shame Star Wars became the multi-trooper -verse instead of having a lot more crazy aliens. The Phantom Menace really was the last Star Wars movie that had a nice assortment of crazy aliens -- like Sebulba and Jar Jar (hate 'em or love 'em).

Yeah, SSC should have done Rebo band, Ackbar, Snaggletooth, Walrusman etc - how sad they blew all that time on clones when we could have been paying $125 for cool aliens like this guy.
The sad thing is, even if they do any of those creatures in the future, they won't be much better than they would have been in 2010, but they'll be double the price.
That's the thing -- now that the baseline price is $250 for Sideshow, it's going to be hard to pay for a wonky Ponda Baba (sorry, Walrusman) or some of the other aliens that are cheap-looking to begin with but will come with an exorbitant price.
I've already chosen to skip the full line of Bounty Hunters for just that reason.
Let's face it, the days of unusual choices are likely gone for Sideshow. HT maybe, but for every GONK droid they tease -- and its not even up yet -- they offer 12-15 trooper variants first.
The required price tag probably killed that project. Three figures plus large instruments. Would be $799 minimum... and I think even Sideshow knows that only a few rich mofos and even less OCDers would pony up for that.
