Late starting proper work today! Why? I hear you ask coz I was in my shed.... :)

MKIII is the one ooooowwww yes.

Finally think i have it how I want it.
Its amazing but it is actually really small, but I have watched sooo many scenes with the falcon in I think its right. Also I never knew the front seats were so low down, hey are almost like bucket seats... Chewies never gonna squeeze in :(

All I can say is WOW.
I'm not on here as much as I'ld like so I have to keep going back to earlier posts to see the "evolution" of the big projects take place after the fact. This is something I'm looking forward to the end results.Keep up the good work Dorgmal!

Looking great so far Mark...Keep it up! One thing though...I thought the Falcon had two more seats behind the pilots chairs? I just remember the meteorite scene in ESB when Leia switches off C3PO?

Ooow it does indeed my friend, the second row seats are really complicated and are the same as the one in the main part of the falcon. You can see one when Luke is doing his jedi training with Ben, Han is sat in one mocking Luke...:)

Neither did I, it's made the more research I have done the more I have discovered thats its nothing like I had first thought!!

MKIII

Right with the cockpit now under way it looks like MKIII is here to stay so its time to get some of the base work done.

I wanted to build the cosole first, no idea why, guess its cos I love the shot of Han resting one arm on the back of the console and looking across at Leia with that cheeky smile on his face, ow his such a dreeam boat.. hu humm er sorry. Anyway yest back to the build. right after the card version of it it was time to build it in plasticard... I love plasticard... I love Han... darn it I must remember to open the window when I use that plasticard glue :angelsmil

Wow... looking good. Just to ask a silly question , do you intend to make it fully enclosed or are you intending to leave a section of it open to get easy acess to your figures to pose them.

Very inspiring work.

Cheers chaps.

Flosi, I had not thought of just sticking them on!! But I think I would like to try to make the buttons!!

Manticore72c I am gonna make it like the old hasbro one i had when I was a kid. So you will be able to take the canopy off.

Really not much to show today but I have started to cut out the spall plastic panels to go on the console... still undesided about them... might just paint the white lines on....

any thoughts welcome chaps and chapessess!!

The one thing I have decided is to try to document this build as much as possible. It is gonna take a while.
