Thank you so much! Looks like he needs to have straight legs to sit, so I think I’ll need to get a SSC trooper to go with it.

Wow, looks excellent on the dewback! Wished one had the space and money to spare on such beast. Great pictures! :)

One thing though, the sandtrooper under-suit vary in flexibility. Have two of them and the second one can't even bend 10° to the side without retracting. First one could more or less do the split. Weird thing, like they ran out of tall under-suits and went for the last short/slim ones.

Looks great Dennis!

Yes, I didn't want to have my HT Sandtrooper sit on my Dewback either.

I used a TT slim knockoff body with Marmit armor to sit on mine.

Looks great. I just finally bought the Dewback from a collector in Sweden and he also had the trooper. I wanted to use my HT sandtrooper for it, but decided to get the SSC version as well now that I was already spending so much.
Can’t wait till it gets here.

Finally jumped on this magnificent beast and at a decent price too.:yess:
Prior to shipping of course :pfft:
Received in excellent condition, where i was extremely worried of any damage. It felt like a brand new unboxing as all the styrofoam almost seemed untouched. Especially when repacking the ridiculously heavy base and lizard, tearing some thin packing sheets and denting a bit of the edges of foam.
The pose, muscle structure and overall detail in design were done so damn well and something i never noticed HOW well till up close. Such an AMAZING piece!

I just bought the Dewback and a SSC sandtrooper Sargent. It’s on its way.
You have the rider sitting really nicely. But is that the SSC trooper or which one is it?

Congrats... it’s the HT Trooper w/black painted pauldron. Armor on legs had to be futz to be able to sit naturally. Also ab-crunched him as far as the armor would allow. It’s doable but takes a little time.

Aaaah, then it seems like I could have saved some money ;) ...well, hope I can make the SSC version look just as natural.
Thanks!

Almost afraid to ask, but you might shed some light into my dark ignorance: what the heck is so utterly wrong with the ssc helmet?
Thanks,
m.
Bottom line is when you look at it it is so inaccurate you can tell off the bat it’s not even a scan because the proportions are so off.

It’s not like people are nitpicking, but we are sooo familiar with the stormtroopers face, that it’s not enough to have the features most people associate with the helmets ...it’s not enough to have a mouth, eyes and ears of a stormtrooper, it has to be in the right positions in relation to each other...it’s a face we are all familiar with

Like Vader...if you see his mirror image, it’s off

What a sight. It’s huge!
Was a bit worried about shipping as it has no original box. But it took one day (one!) and so far all looks good :)
