At least we know he's MSRP'd at $200. If he is any more than that, we got a legit complaint since he was priced at SDCC last year :tap

But I am surprised he didn't even make an appearance at this year's SDCC. I wonder what's up? He looked great last year and done too!

He was a statue last year. They really didn't have all the logistics worked on in order to make him move. So I'm assuming it's taking time to get that down in a way that he won't break looking at him.

Yep. And I'm sure the $200 is what *that* version would have cost. :lol A fully articulated figure with four arms (which the 2011 proto did not have) I'm sure will cost considerably more. :monkey1

No, the plans haven't changed from then as to what the figure was intended to be like (I remember Nathan talking about how something was being worked on for either separating arms, or alternate arms)... so the price of $200 was for a more complex figure than was shown.

However, over a year has passed and the price of figures continues to creep up. So I suspect we'll see at least a $30 increase if not more to the final price.

When SW was announced I think the top end estimate was either $99 or $129; we've blown past that even with the Tusken Raider :lol

By the time he gets released we'll be in another price-hike round, so the $200 won't matter.

In all seriousness, though, given the nature of the figure, he is a logistic nightmare and like with HT, I can see SSC placing SW on the back-burner for the easier Marvel money-grab.

...they mostly come at night...mostly.
