1/6th Scale General Grievous Figure

ORDERED!!!! i sold off all my 1/6 scale sw figures, now i've ordered the white boba, deluxe vader and grievous.

Anyone ******** because he is coming with ROTS Obiwan's exclusive blaster? Or is it a different gun?

I didn't even bother looking at the pics, just ordered. I went and dug out ROTS Kenobi's blaster to compare. The Grievous one is the same blaster, but a different sculpt. But no, I am not bothered.

Even the new Cobra Commander came standard with a snake cane that was the first offerings exclusive. They are not the same sculpt, but still.....

Yes but its still fun to click "Place Order" on occasion before cancelling later.

Cool beanie weenies. I wasn't sussed either way. I sold my ex. gun long ago. But it's cool that they didn't just recast the old one but went the harder route of sculpting a new version.

Ordered the figure. I am never going to be on board with the idea that 250.00 for this figure is anything short of laughable. There is zero justification in anything over 175.00. And I am pretty easy-going on the prices of figures.


That being said, the price is not a deal-breaker for me, though. Good thing I have money to burn.

I figured right away that they would have had to sculpt a new one if it had magnets in it.

they are trying to compete with hot toys and the pricing is already there. this one does give you ample accessories, a battle damaged mask and is 16" tall. perfectly in scale with grievous' size. i think the $250 is worth it.

It does look awesome and I pretty much guessed they were going to go to $250.

Its funny but if you look at the tiny print at the bottom of the picture it says figures and hologram sold separately. They showed those security droids at SDCC but they did not show hologram Dooko. It would be weird to have him all by himself so I imagine he will come with someone/thing else at some point.

And in the last picture, why would Grievous hang up a lit Magna electo staff (or his own figure stand for that matter)?

Definitely-- right now two droids are walking with one of my Mauls (and the holo Palpatine) but they'll definitely be moved to flank GG just as I've got two Stormtroopers to flank Vader.

I preordered the regular from AP Collectibles. I have no need for the battle-damaged head, the price was much better, and there is no reserve.
