Think theres any chance in hell Sideshow will attempt to make Grievous' wheel bike?

A 2 ft by 2ft wheel for $1000?

Here's a solution...

If Grievous is a big hit, I can see his IG-100 bodyguards being produced but I can't see SSC ever doing his vehicle. Just way too big, expensive and un-iconic to be made, IMO.

I would really like to see the magnaguards produced... with the same level of great engineering and attention to detail that IG-88 received. Having this Grîevous figure flanked by two of those would make an awesome display!

Yep, that was my thinking, too. Personally they're my favourite design of the PT (and think they'd fit in pretty nicely with OT stuff, too). For the hope of seeing those alone I want Grievous to do really well.

And then those 3 flanked by Battle droids!! and then maybe a super BD or two, I think im gunna work on a droid army....

Broke down and decided to get this one . Sending in the rest of my hasbro collection to Brians Toys to trade for this , Prototype Boba and Echo Base Luke and Han.

I really loved Grievous in the Tartakovsky Clone Wars.
Just held back on getting this because of how they mishandled him in ROTS and the later Clone Wars.

Perhaps they'll do a Tartakovsky CW version, an all white repaint like Boba. :D

How easy is this to do? I've thought about that for awhile. Do they pay fair prices for your collection or do they really try to short change you?

preordered, actually hope something is a bit late coz got lots all about the same time now,

i can't speak for other people, but in my instance when i tried to sell some of my stuff i can tell you the prices that were offered were not fair at all and extremely disappointing. i understand they can't pay full market value cause they have to make a profit, but what they offered seemed like a nickel on the dollar. i obviously refused their offer and just sold it off on ebay and made substantially way more. would never go through that route with them again.

That's what I thought. I just looked at their price guide for what they would pay and not very good. I have had luck selling whole sets on eBay. I will not sell individual figures. Not enough time to spend on that. Thanks for your reply.

you're very welcome bro. good luck to you if you are in fact trying to sell off parts of your collection. for as much negative comments that get tossed ebay's way, i've found selling stuff on there to be very profitable.

Within continuity (as the story was given to us)....this is the SW past.

Question...How do you get the model IG-100 some 20 odd years before the IG-88? :dunno

yeah don't do It. i sent them a list of what I had about four years ago and it was like a slap in the face when I was selling my sideshow collection once but refused that joke of an offer. your better off selling it on ebay

Purged the PT virus that quickly, hey? That's what I'm still debating.

Pretty much. This Grievous is awesome but he's $250 and so is Vader and I don't have a Vader yet. Plus there's Azog on Warg that I preordered and it's really kind of a no-brainer as to who doesn't make the cut, awesome as this figure is.

You know, that's actually quite probable after Boba. That would give the another use for the otherwise one-time use of the molds.

Not that easy, they base the prices upon condition and require pics and a whole lot. Dealing with BT for selling is like dealing with...

So yeah... if ya see what they charge like, say $14 for what they sell, they'll offer you like 33% of that cost. So basically $4.35 or around there. Ntm they'll want ya to ship your whole collection to them so they can inspect it and if they find faults... -$$$.

aside from the "tales of the bounty hunters" story is there anywhere it was actually stated how long ig88 has been about or when his model was designed?

Ignoring the EU, my take would be IG-88 was made during the Clone Wars (so not too long before the IG-100s -- presumably during a war they'd be refining and cranking out new IG iterations at a breakneck pace) and managed to avoid deactivation. Afterwards, he becomes a bounty hunter until we eventually catch-up with him on the Executor. I don't think he's necessarily a newer model because we see him later in film continuity.

Other explanations could be that someone found him wrecked and refurbished him or that the model, despite being old, is still useful and produced. I like the idea of him being a holdover from the Clone Wars the best, though, since it would mean he's unique and gives him some character, as opposed to being a generic assassin droid.
