Didn't we just see a photo with a bunch of boxed Grievous figures? How can they now require a delay? Not really a big deal so long as March means March and they don't bump it tonApril come the end of February.

I think they might have caught onto the fact they have too many releases bunched together.
I dont might waiting alittle longer to save.

I was surprised to get the delay notice...particularly given that picture that was released.

Hope it's not a major issue

The delay may be due to the fact that SSC just got a full shipment of AVP Celtic Predator early. I received an offer to convert my flex pay, which wasn't supposed to start until April, to a full purchase today with shipment immediately...And of course I said :yess:

After the problems with Vader, I had suspected there would be as many issues or more with something as fragile as Grievous. Likely some issues came up based on the Vader problems.

Maybe SSC pushed this back so they could push up the release of the Iron Man 3 War Machine Mk2, Iron Patriot, Mark XLII, and Red Snapper....obviously Iron Man takes precedent over every other theme at SSC :rotfl

Looking forward to War Machine. Damn, those are some fantastic pics in the Marvel section. Definitely bodes very well for RoboCop.

That picture was not reflecting the shipment of the full allocation of Grievous. It was a few advance pieces from the production line. Grievous hasn't arrived into the Sideshow warehouse yet and isn't expected to be in until the very end of February/sometime in March.

I should also add that I got a chance to see and play around with (though play around seems too childlike of a term and for that I apologize) with one of the advance Grievous pieces in house and I have to say I was mighty impressed with it. The switch out head feature (for those that are getting the Exclusive) had me giddy over how it was done (I'm sure most here would not be as giddy as I but I just loved how that feature was put into play). Electro staff is cool but I think he looks even better with multiple light sabers. The figure as a whole is just so neat to see in person (tall, great details, articulation on legs, arms and parts of fingers are nifty). I'm hoping folks who get him are even more excited than me once they have him in hand.

Good news!! I'm glad it looks and functions great. Thanks for the update.

Yep thanks for the updaetes CAhobbit.

The delay I would see is hugely welcomed as the first few months of the year is/are going to be crazy with figures coming from all directions.

"Play around" is perfectly accurate. These ARE toys after all.
EXPENSIVE toys, but still just toys. :lol

And anyone who pulls the "high end collectable!" bull**** nonses card is just insecure about their hobby.

If we're being honest, we're all playing with dollies here. ESPECIALY people who customize them :lol
After all, what's kitbashing but an expensive version of playing dressup?

Cool, thanks for the in-hand impression, Alex. Was going to ask, but wasn't sure if you'd have had the chance yet to see it in person. Really looking forward to this release.
