Looks like the regular version will ship around the same time as the exclusive. SS said they will begin processing both this Thursday . Also my AD Brians Toys on thier front page says Grievous and Boba Fett are due to arrive soon. I hoping to have mine in hand within the next two weeks.

With these shipping soon, why the heck were my last flex payments pushed back a month? My last payment was pushed back until the end of March. I guess I will be calling SSC to see if I can pay off the remaining balance sooner.

People will find anything to complain about. Yes they're noticeable. But people would have complained if there wasn't a joint there in the first place. I think it's a small sacrifice to pay (functionality vs. accuracy) to have a figure with that poseability. Having it makes for much more versatile poses I think. And personally, I prefer that.

People will also accept a lot, and even gush over everything. For the price tag these things are and the amount of QC issues there's been on recent (and past ) figures, people have good reasons to criticize or be worried. With all the engineering that this figure had to have went through, you'd think they'd have been able to hide that joint better, maybe they couldn't, who knows. Either way it's distracting, once you see it, it's stays very noticeable. That and the inability of the figure to be in the character's standard pose (hunched) which you yourself also complained about, I don't see much wrong with this figure. I can't wait to have it.

You guys who have Grievous coming are in for a real treat. He looks amazing. At the moment I'm not picking him up but maybe if the regular is still available in the next couple of months I will pick him up. As for now I'm happy with my Deluxe Vader. Can't wait to see in hand pics!

I would call it criticisim, not complaining. We all love Sideshow and the creative work they do, but speaking as a creative person myself, criticisim does more for the improvement of your work than praise. When we see a character we love so much done as well as the SSC Grievous, it's tempting to expect perfection, and when we get such excelent first looks at these figures from folks like Optibotimus, it gives us an oppertunity to ogle them to the fullest extent, and of coures we are going to see where they fall short of perfection. Having said all that I wonder why they went with the very noticibly large ankle joints. I would think they could have made the large joint just above the "foot" and had the anke be more of a hinge like it is in the movie.

Large ankle joint aside the figure looks amazing to me so far, and I can't wait to get mine! Thanks for the early look Optibotimus, keep up the good work!

I feel the same way, my last payment got changed with no explanation and I wasn't even given the option to pay everything off earlier. WTH!!!

Not pleased

Woot! Just got my processing notification! Processing on Feb. 13th! So It'll probably be in my hands by Wednesday next week!

Great news! They usually start shipping mostly the eastern destinations first (Thursday and Friday) and the CA or more west coast out Monday and Tuesday so everyone gets it about the same time. At least that's what I've observed over the years. I'm 20 miles from Sideshow so I expect mine won't go out until Monday or Tuesday at earliest.

got my payment request as well for thursday. really excited! after what seems like such a long wait has finally arrived!
