I'm trying to get this guy back in the box, I remember having to extend the legs once I got him, but I don't remember how to push them back in so he fits in the box. Anybody have a clue?

EDIT: Nevermind, got it. Just a gentle twist and push until it starts clicking and retracts.

Another favourite Bounty Hunter from earlier days gets preferential treatment as well:

SSC Boussh is a really overlooked figure. It's a bit too tall but I love it.

it really is a great figure, one of my favorites. Glad it came out a few years ago, it would be $300 now. :)

:exactly: X1000

I couldn't remember how to do it. Is it something to do with twist and pull?

EDIT: found the answer by searching this thread.

Close your eyes, pull, and hope for the best!

Just be careful and only do it once because it does create scratches on the leg when you move it up and down. The weathering comes off a little too easily with the hard plastic.

So, looks like they're reissuing this one as well? I saw it on their blog, but it has since been removed. The date for preorder was listed as "May 26, 2016," so I'm guessing it wasn't a finalized announcement.

It is still there. I am glad that i didn't pay a crazy amount to get this figure when i did.

How sad what Sideshow has become. Home of $270 basic figs and endless reissues of figs from years ago.:slap

Interested in the price though - I think this was around $185 when it came out. That's nearly $100 cheaper than the Snowsp Luke and $40 less than a couple of Jawas.

Steal of a deal if it's close to original price - and will show to a new 1/6 collector (who's looking at the Snowsp Luke and IG side-by-side on the site) how much SSC now gouges.

If SS was smart they'd re-release Emperor Palpatine before HT announces theirs. If HT didn't announce one they would make some decent cash on it.

The way this is going, we're going to see their original Leia and farmboy Luke before they're done.

But honestly - I'm excited if they are re-releasing at close to original prices.

LOL, Sideshow you crazy.

This will be $50 more than original MSRP and will include the generic black stand.

I would anticipate them re-releasing all of their figures that can even somewhat hold up to the current things (all the bounty hunters, troopers, Sith, etc) but I doubt they would just re-release things as crappy as their original human Star Wars figures.

I think their droids, armored figures, and aliens all look pretty good. I would take their Greedo on an upgraded body with more hand choices for a reasonable amount of money ($100-$120 which is still double initial offering) but honestly not sure how I feel about this. I got IG-88 at retail and love him. I am happy for everyone else that is going to be able to get him now but defeats the marketing/collecting strategy that Sideshow developed and implemented on us early collectors.

Oh well. I saw they re-released ROTJ "non-deluxe" Vader as well with some "improvements". I would much rather see a reasonable timed release of the unavailable Bounty Hunters that are actually well done instead of rehashing past glory when they had a good design/implementation team.

Oh, crap - that's right - they dump the light-up stands for the re-releases. That stand amounted to an "ultimate" EX accessory.

will he come with the axe? That is the question. I have the normal version IG-88 I got at retail when it came out, but I've always longed for the axe.

That would be really kicking dirt on the first buyers though, since it was an exclusive part. But when in rome... as they say. Lawl
