The left elbow of mine doesn't 'click' into place the way the right elbow does, and I'm not able to pose the arm extended out at all as it bends downwards from the weight of the gun, I think I need a replacement, unless anyone has any ideas on how to tighten the elbow joints? I moved the little rubber elbow covering, but didn't see anything that would allow me to tighten it up...

This would be the 4th item in a row from Sideshow that I will have had to request a replacement on (Hawk's exclusive head didn't have the inner ring, Viper's Magpul broke right out of the box, HT Captain America has 3 different belt problems, now this), I'm starting to think I'm being too picky...

I'm guessing that's why your screen name is youbastards. You probably say that every time you open up a new figure. :lol

EDIT: Leaving thread before I get tempted to buy one.

I'd say it's just a run of bad luck.

Yeah, you're probably right. I will say that the shoulders on my current IG-88 turned fine once I used one of those round rubber jar openers.

These things:

The trick is to make sure you are only grabbing the shoulder and not the upper arm.

Yep, definitely want to avoid the upper arm as I'm sure that could get snapped in the process.

I will say its nearly impossible to see the shoulder joint... for being a cut joint its pretty well integrated into the figure.

Nobody has mentioned it, but I love the Vibro blade. Really crisp/detailed sculpt and three different shades of metallic paint. Much better piece than I thought it was going to be.

Yep, glad I bit the bullet and kept the Ex. It's definitely a cool item, and really shows up well on the figure, unlike many other exclusives that remain in the box.

Maybe not ESB accurate but who's to say he doesn't have an armory somewhere.

Does the vibro-blade actually attach to the gun in some way? Seems like the peg at the end plugs into something.

Not that I can see, don't think it has a function other than helping it stay secure in the slot on the holster. Although every time I pick this thing up, I see some detail I didn't see before, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if there was some secondary place for it to attach.

I wasn't able to find any spots for the axe either... although it does look like it should attach to something :huh

I was kind of hoping that his forearm would come off and that the axe would fit into the arm.

That was ashort-lived hope.

the light up is a cool feature. I passed on this guy but from the reports of issues with the arms I am sort of glad I did.

Yep, its kind of a reverse QC issue... usually joints on a new style of figure are too loose; this time its fits together too well :lol

Yeah IG is easily one of the most unique SW designs and Sideshow nailed it in my humble opinion, but he does feel fragile, though the shoulder issue is not much to worry about. Took me about five minutes to get them going and done for good...
