I figured I'd post this, whether they do anything about it or not. I've gone over something's I'd like to see fixed to help the over all line. Certain things that made people pass on buying from Sideshow. People could add things here if they want. I can only go on the Jedi, since that's pretty much all we've gotten.
The Jedi Under shirt; it's way too baggy. It should be tighter in the sleeves (look at Plo Koon's) and chest area, proably should stick another button on the collar to give it the appearence it does in the film. Too much wasted space for no reason. Look at what Dave from RS does to his figures.
The Jedi Tunic; I think these have been turning out well. I'd like to see the opening of the sleeves a little wider, and see the length of the tunic itself shortened. It's been longer than the tabbard which isn't right. Which leads me to the...
The Jedi tabbard; make them longer. Also wider in some cases. Look what happened to Qui-Gon, in the movie, his tabbard is very wide, yet the figure has the most narrow out of them all (narrower than Mace's). Also, in the movies some (or maybe it was just Obi-Wan) cross over each other in the back then attach.
Belts I've heard are being looked at so they're more stable.
Jedi Pants; Should also be tighter to the body. They're fine at the ankles, but get way too wide towards the hip/thigh area. I had to use clear rubber bands on Obi-Wan (now looks much better in overall appearence).
Han's jacket, Luke's jumpsuit; since the arms are long on all the figures the sleeves should be a little longer, too. Helps hide the hideous wrist joint.
Big-Head syndrome should be addressed, the tailoring and hemming should be worked on. Also, areas on figures where something else may have worked better (Asajj's collar being fabric and part of the outfit, her belt/holster being faux leather, Qui-Gon's locks). Doing this should help the overall appearance of the figures, especially after taking it out of the box and bring more people in. The Jedi have been a mess, looking all over the place. And thanks to Dave's 'Laundry Day'
, don't have to stay that way, but people shouldn't have to do that to make these figures look good. Look at the way Medicom's outfit's turn out, hear anyone having to pour water on their figures, or having to use tape and rubberbands to hold things in place? They may cost a lot, but there's a reason why so many buy them; quality.
We've already been over the horrible Art Buck body.
END.
