They are, but honestly I never do anything with the boxes so what the look like has never been a huge issue.
BTW, did the book show up yet?
I don't do anything with the either, but it'd be nice if they updated them all the same.

Not that I'm in the know when it coems to such things, but I think Lucasfilm is in full control of the black/grey design we see on all SS, GG, Medicom products... It's nice and clean, but after 4 or 5 years it really seems "blah."

I liked the original packaging... much more fun than the black and grey. But does seem that this is a dictate from LFL and at least its not the goofy Maul head

was just about to say that.............the original boxes had more pop to them. & i like pop...........
saying all that those boxes sure did pop up in my attic.........
I guess it could be worse though...
I like that so I wouldn't mind seeing that to be honest.

Yeah, just got ship notice. I'll have my droids tomorrow. I may not have seemed like a long wait for you guys, but I painted the protos back in November of 2010. I've waited a long time to have these on my shelf. Can't wait for OOM9 and the STAPS.
