Cancelled mine.
Always said I wouldnt spend that much on a STD droid but wavered when I saw them

But can't justify it these days ESP with 2 kids

These look really cool, if I collected the SW SS line I would def purchase, been wanting to get into the Clone Commanders but waiting for the Republic Commandos to drop. Id buy Dorgmals if I had the coin though.

I thought these were way too expensive, but then saw that you get two. Not too bad. I'm worried about them wilting or warping over time like the Hasbro ones though.

I did paint the prototypes, but funny thing is these are the actual production pieces you're looking at. The protos weren't as fully engineered as these, and my paint apps were overkill screen accurate. The apps were simplified on these so that they could easily be customized by collectors, and used as the base for later variations of Droids. Very smart thinking by Sideshow IMO.

I painted one other version that I think may also be at SDCC, but not sure. One thing is for sure. You haven't seen the last of the Battle Droids.

You did great man! They took what you did and made it work in production. Looking forward to seeing the variants as they come out based on your work.

These really look excellent. This is like only the third TPM character made in the whole line I think. I ordered the exclusive set and one regular set for now but I may get a few more eventually. I am guessing we will also get OOM-9, the security, pilot, red AOTC and more that I am forgetting eventually.

Need more TPM love. I guess its arguable that Mace, Ki Adi, and Plo Kloon are TPM or AOTC.

The scratched Droid is a close representation of how I painted the prototypes.

I did paint one other version, yet to be revealed, with even more insane detail.
