What's with the OT tittybabies pissing in every thread? Jesus, get over it already.
What's with you back in the SW section? Jesus, get out of here already!

lol, good point.
I am happy with my OTC Hasbro Boba, never picked up the Medi so I'm really happy Sideshow is making him.
It would have been really cool if they put LED or something to make the effects of the lights on his chest armor. well I would have liked it.
How important these light-up features really are? Do people display the figures all lit up? Not bashing, it's a serious question.. I think I'd rather see them taking away the lights and lowering the cost.. The only time I ever use the lights, on any figure, be it SW, Transformers, or any others, is when I first open them.. Or sometimes show it to a friend.. But beyond that, who cares, really? Wouldn't you rather have a cheaper price tag?

I just got Ghost Rider and I agree, I'll likely not light-him or the motorcycle up much, mainly because the figure is a b___h to try to light up.
At the end of the day they're just gimmicks that jack up the price and will be used a few times, or occasionally used at best. Plus, it's just something else to worry about as a leaky battery can have severe repercussions on the longevity and value of a figure. I'm worried that when the droids come out, the same gimmicks will be used to push them up into the Medi range.
I feel the same way, and think it really hurt that HT Ghostrider. That figure does look great if you light it up in a dark room, but the batteries in mine started dying after about 3 hours, so. . .yeah, 99.99% of the time they'll be posed without the gimmicks, and so I prefer to get something that looks the best it can be without the use of the gimmick (e.g., painted flames on Ghost Rider instead of the cheaper looking translucent plastic). If companies want to throw in a light up something or other, a spring loaded missile, or a gun that shoots water, fine, but please don't hurt the non-gimmicky look of the figure in the process. I don't really care so much with Boba since the base in an unnecessary accessory, except that I would easily preferred, say, $25 off the price if he didn't have the light-up base.At the end of the day they're just gimmicks that jack up the price and will be used a few times, or occasionally used at best.

It's such a small detail but all those minor details add up to awesomeness.
Hopefully if they ever do R2 or 3PO they think about that and make them with at least light up features.
If IG-88 has lights in his noggin then C-3PO and R2 will definitely have them as well. Not to mention Medicom included that feature which means Sideshow will have to follow suit or be accused of bunting.
