We can let go of our hate Khev... now is the time for healing
True, true. Its like at the end of a Disney movie when the bad wizard/witch is defeated and the dark curse is finally lifted off the kingdom and everything goes back to normal.

IG-88 isn't much less than that mind you
IG-88 looked pretty damn awesome and worth the price in person.
How important these light-up features really are? Do people display the figures all lit up? Not bashing, it's a serious question.. I think I'd rather see them taking away the lights and lowering the cost.. The only time I ever use the lights, on any figure, be it SW, Transformers, or any others, is when I first open them.. Or sometimes show it to a friend.. But beyond that, who cares, really? Wouldn't you rather have a cheaper price tag?
At the end of the day they're just gimmicks that jack up the price and will be used a few times, or occasionally used at best. Plus, it's just something else to worry about as a leaky battery can have severe repercussions on the longevity and value of a figure. I'm worried that when the droids come out, the same gimmicks will be used to push them up into the Medi range.
Did Boba look $174.99? not taking the base into account? does it look worth the price? Just wondering.
Actually the translucent look can be enhanced with the indoor lighting to look pretty good. If painted...I'd think GR's head would look more like a orange spikey thing. If you place GR infront of a lamp it gives a good effect.
Plus it just looks better IMO than the cheap dollar store toy look you get from painted flames. I don't want my high end collectibles looking like that sorry.
You have to take the base into account. Its factored into the price. Boba looked great. He was very detailed and looked like a really awesome figure. I think $175 is the top of the line for Boba despite how awesome he looks.
As far as gimmicks and such I like them. I may not use them all the time but its nice to have incase I want to use it for a bit. Its a nice option to have.
And I even in shadow, or up close it doesn't look cheap to me or my wallet.
Good to know Josh. I am gonna get him for sure. If he is as good as the clones i'm sure i'll be more than satisfied.

SO glad I snagged the exclusive on this guy. Having this in-hand and seeing the engineering they clearly put into it is going to be amazing.
This is going to be a really unique SSC figure too - it's a rare figure that they create from scratch.
One thing that is still a bit confusing about this fig - has anyone come up with a reason why the head is so different from the ESB character? It is so radically different, it's obviously intentional:
This is Hasbro 12" fig, movie prop, and SSC (c/u still from video)
It must be based on some other version of IG - CW? EU? Can anyone identify it?
Yeah, I saw this POS at the dollar store and just walked on by:Plus it just looks better IMO than the cheap dollar store toy look you get from painted flames. I don't want my high end collectibles looking like that sorry.

$3 Hasbro see-through plastic only for me, please.

For what Sideshow wants for a barebones droid, they should at least get the goddam head right. Who gives a ____ about 200+ points of articulation if they can't even nail that.

He's missing an entire section of his head. Did you miss that? l
I see a small section missing but didn't know that. I'm not an ____ retentive SW fan that knows every inch of nobody characters like IG-88. Honestly, the part that's missing doesn't hurt the look from seeing it in person.
