I've still got pretty much my entire vintage Star Wars collection and even some of the original boxes. We moved quite a bit when I was a kid, so my Dad kept boxes for everything, just flattened them down.

I'm kidding! :lol Though I have never watched an episode... I'd like to if I knew where to start. :dunno

I personally would start you at Tomb of the Cybermen. It's black and white and the pacing is slower than what we are accustomed to now-a-days but damn if it isn't one of the greatest pieces of TV history.

OT you say?

well Kenner> Doctor> ...>...>...>...>..>.. Boba Fett whinging. :lol

My heart goes out to you. My friend had the largest comic book collection I've ever seen. Started collecting when he was 8-9. His bedroom was the house attic and the A-frame walls were lined with comic books. Among the hundreds of useless issues, he must have had 20-30 rare gems that would fetch thousands today.

His mom threw it all out when he went to college. Every last one of them. Fire hazard. She could have bought a new house with the money she could have gotten for that collection.

Ugh. I never understood parents like that and fortunately had a mother who collects things herself.

I mean what sort of person doesn't ask before disposing of someone else's property? And good lord how does a mother not know that those comics meant something to her child? And then on top of that is so clueless about the huge amounts of money her child must have spent over the years on such a collection (even at retail it adds up) that they just throw them away?

Yet the mother is probably the sort I hear whining about how 'her kids never call her'.

:lol

I know, but on the same note, I think my own mom threw out a ton of junk that I actually never even think of today. Old board games and silly toys I liked when I was five. Moms just can't tell the differnce between the valuable goods and the "toys" I guess. I'm sure that's different today with all those 'valuables in the attic' shows.

Yeah I had a TON of the old Kenner Star Wars figures when I was a kid, but when we ended up moving out of state my Mom suggested we give my Star Wars figures to my younger cousin since I didnt really "play" with them much anymore. Years later I convinced him to give them back, but it took a few years and him dodging me before I finally got them. Although I didnt get every one of them back. He had lost of broke some. Unfortunately. Ones that I had but are gone now are like Han in Carbonite, Amanaman, Vader, Farm Boy Luke and Obi Wan.

I only got a handful of the toys when I was little, and only one single figure survived from the original purchase... an original telescoping-saber Vader. One of my prizes today, even if out of the package.

Another quick shots..
Classic Boba Fett pose, looks good :) (IMO)
