Speaking of Kenner, here's a grail I picked up a couple months ago.

Man that brings back memories. I received them just like that in the mail. I still have the original four figures along with all the others stashed away in my Vader and 3PO head figure holders. Unfortunately the original packaging like that pic above is long gone.

The vintage stories are great...

I always played with my figures outside in the snow. It was always nice to find figures and weapons in the yard that were lost in the snow after it melted.

As far as Boba, the figure looks fine. Im looking forward to futzing it up. Nothing is "unfutzable"

My favorite Kenner memory? Coming home from college in the spring of 1985 to find out my parents had given away all my SW figures.

No, wait... that isn't a favorite memory.

My mom was big into Star Wars, so really there was never any fear of her tossing out or selling toys in a garage sale. Really the opposite problem in that she tends to keep too much of that stuff

My heart goes out to you. My friend had the largest comic book collection I've ever seen. Started collecting when he was 8-9. His bedroom was the house attic and the A-frame walls were lined with comic books. Among the hundreds of useless issues, he must have had 20-30 rare gems that would fetch thousands today.

His mom threw it all out when he went to college. Every last one of them. Fire hazard. She could have bought a new house with the money she could have gotten for that collection.

I did the same thing with my Doctor Who toys (most of my star wars toys ended up being ruined in the freezer, buried in the back yard, or destroyed with various types of fireworks). I packed them away and left home. Came home a few years later to reclaim them and....
