So he's a go then, since he's $174.99. Since you don't live in CA that rules out tax and since you're not out of the US, I HIGHLY doubt you paid $25 for shipping.

It's odd though that you'd take such an affront to this piece yet the Rescue Mission Cap, which doesn't resemble Chris Evans whatsoever, was an instabuy.

O, I seriously thought you were just being sarcastic.

My take on it is this: I can run down everything to the last detail of whats wrong with this and I usally do in my mind at least for every Star Wars release. But I can also make a huge laundry list of everything this figure has done right. The negatives are a small list especially compared to the truckload of stupidity on prior Boba releases, and the positives are far beyond all other Bobas. I think when you get it in hand its going to shine and you're going to sleep with it at night murmuring my precious as you drift off to sleep.... or maybe not

Just got him today and he really blows away any other Fett we've seen. Just comparing to the medicom - there's more textures, more detail and more posability.

Now I guess I should read the thread so I can learn why I'm completely wrong and he sucks.

I admit it, even with Rook's great pic, I'm pretty bummed that this is so far from the proto. I don't want to pay $200+ shipped just because I want to like it so much that I pretend that it's better than it is. I'll give it a good once over when it arrives but will probably send it back.

I want to like it buy just can't. I kept trying to talk myself into it, but i should not have to. I keep looking at the proto. So i'm sticking with the Medicom.

Just curious what is the exact price when you stop with the "sir, thank you sir, may I have another" trolling for Sideshow?

You are willing to slam Hot Toys figures that are just $15 more (e.g. Hawkeye) so I am curious what changes in less than a 10% price increase that flips you from apologist to harsh critic.

The Hasbro OTC isn't even 1/6, so this SS is the only off-the-shelf 1/6 there is.

It's the best there is until they release their ROTJ version.

The ESB vest malfunction will help sales of the next one. It's all part of their evil plan!

Lots of Boba Fetts will be stood on shelves hiding their beer bellies. It's the price we're going to pay. Or not.

It would be nice to cancel this and await the next offering. But impatience is the key, and they know it.

I want the best possible 1/6 Boba on a shelf now. And this is it.

What do you mean that the OTC Boba isn't 1/6? The body is slightly short?

My house is a bit darker than that pic would suggest. The iPhone camera was trying hard to lighten it up. To be honest, the vest bugs me more than the helmet. The vest is just so damn square, but overall, I'm happy with the figure.

I will admit the figure doesn't make the best first impression. When I first took it out of the box, the right forearm fell off as soon as I pulled it out of the box. Add that to the fact that the materials are not up to Hot Toys standards (this is my first Sideshow 1/6th) and I put it back in the box to sleep on in.

However, I'm really glad I gave it a 2nd chance and setup the figure with the stand / properly posed. It's not perfect, and it feels a bit over priced at $175, but I can't imagine sending it back at this point.

Really, it looks completely bad ass from my couch while I watch TV. There's definitely some issues up close, but from the distance I'm usually at, it's fantastic and just what I was looking for.

hey,i am pissed about the vest,too.just wanted an opinion on the colors because like i said,it differs on pics.
