My house is a bit darker than that pic would suggest. The iPhone camera was trying hard to lighten it up. To be honest, the vest bugs me more than the helmet. The vest is just so damn square, but overall, I'm happy with the figure.

I will admit the figure doesn't make the best first impression. When I first took it out of the box, the right forearm fell off as soon as I pulled it out of the box. Add that to the fact that the materials are not up to Hot Toys standards (this is my first Sideshow 1/6th) and I put it back in the box to sleep on in.

However, I'm really glad I gave it a 2nd chance and setup the figure with the stand / properly posed. It's not perfect, and it feels a bit over priced at $175, but I can't imagine sending it back at this point.

Really, it looks completely bad ass from my couch while I watch TV. There's definitely some issues up close, but from the distance I'm usually at, it's fantastic and just want I was looking for.

Congratulations. You've posted the most informative, clear and easy to read impression yet.

If anyone here has the EX and changes their mind once in hand, I'd be glad to buy the figure from you instead of sending it back to Sideshow. :wave

I may have at one time, but my order probably fell victim to the Great Purge. :monkey1

Naughty naughty Waller. You know better than to jump to conclusions and negative/abusive posts in this thread. Just cause we see one iffy picture and someone yells at someone else for posting an "awful" picture, no need to jump to conclusions. :peace let those sad people enjoy dragging everyone else down. :slap

Flosi just told me he'd get you one off eBay. :hi5:

Some better pics that more accurately reflect my cave of a house. The base lighting looks a lot darker because the glowing floor is deeply recessed and will look pretty dark unless you're looking down at an angle. Also, if you want to peep details, the original 3456 x 5184 photos are available on my Flickr page.

Thanks for the pic and summary CRIPPLE!! I have to agree with Rubio on this one, it's the best little straight-forward summary so far. Pretty much sums up this forum right there and we all know exactly what to expect now:

Boba has some clear issues right out of the box, but with a little time spent futzing and fixing those issues this figure has the potential to impress and look amazing.

Once again, thanks for the pics (Everyone!) and keep em coming! Haha

Great pics Simplecripple! Thanks for posting. I think he looks pretty darn good there.
