Yeah, its not like I'm doing cartwheels over a $160 pricetag. But given what 1/6 figures cost it seems fair :huh

That Mickey Mouse ____ing badass. Compared to a $500 Gantry, $450 Iron Monger and $950 Batmobile, this is practically given away. :lol

Say what?

Actually, this is what I'm talking about, if inquiring minds need to know:

That's pretty cool. Should come with a polka dot bow though. So you can have two versions Mickey or Minnie. likeness is almost bale great!

That's a cool Mickey!

But yeah, he's a greedy little bastage. :lol

"M-I-C...K-E-Y...M-O-N-E-Y!"

Thats awesome and creepy. It looks like theres some "down on their luck alcho" inside the suit.:clap

"..I'm only smiling on the oooutsiiiiide"
:lol

Wow. I really WANT to love it, but why is the head/helmet so enormous?...It looks like a bobble head. :monkey2

However, I think I may still prefer the shape of the helmet on the medicom versions.

I mentioned earlier that there are several incarnations of this helmet, as also mentioned in the video. The one at Con is actually the same one as in the video after all, but, again, I painted a second version that addresses both of the above issues very nicely.

This figure is just straight badass! Sideshow knocked it out of the park and SilentSurfer destroyed the paint work... looks like Boba Fett just walked off the screen :rock

I knew SilentSurfer was talented but holy Motherfrogger!!! Had no idea.......I'd walk around with a flagpole all day if I had that kind of talent

Thats what should be the real SS exclusive version. Handpainted EXs - limited to 100 each...People would literrally kill to score one

i think we're gonna run into problems if everybody is hoping the figures are gonna be individually hand painted by SilentSurfer. there's no way they will look as good as that prototype. that said, it looks fantastic and i'm gonna get it. (then, maybe send it to SS to repaint it)

You guys are awesome! The Sideshow team, especially my friend Jared, really deserve so much of the credit for making this figure a reality. It takes a lot of chugging along from a long train of talented, determined people to achieve a figure this awesome. This figure was in the works before I came along. I'm just the shiny red caboose.

It sucks you didn't Commander Gree or are taking new customer commissions because I would LOVE to see what you could've done with him:monkey3

I don't recognize all the names on the artists list for Gree, so I'm not sure who painted the proto, but I have to admit I would not have done any better a job on the prototype for this figure. It was very impressive.

Funny story: After the Gree proto was a painted, Sideshow decided to give all the Clones the 10+ hands they all come with now, as well as action feet. I got the job of paint matching the new hands and feet to the proto work. That was a challenge.

You may yet see what I can do with Gree though, if I so choose to give my own piece a touch up.:wink1:

the shiny red caboose that COULD!

:rotfl

I think I'm done with SSC Star Wars line.

With everything jumping up to 160+ I'm not ready to pay that.

To me the Star Wars line is about assembling a universe of figures. They needed to be affordable to be able to buy multiple figures.

At HT prices I can only afford to buy one or two instead of three of four.

I rather have many good quality figures on my shelf then three or four amazing quality figures.

Star Wars is too big of a universe to pay $160+ for each figure.

I've been buying Hot Toys figures lately. I'm feeling kind of the opposite of you my friend. I'm kind of glad to see something under $200 for once!

I'm feeling the same way. The cost has just gotten way out of hand with all 12" figs.
