While I don't want to pay that much for all SW figures, I'm willing to when it comes to such an iconic one as Fett. It looks amazing and well worth it.

Feel the same way.
And also don't forget how much details the figure has. And the light up base is also unique (and much cooler than the regular black one).

:exactly: it's the only one I'm buying from the Sideshow line and it's still cheaper at that price then the Medicom Fetts too. Long wait for this figure to come out in mid 2012.

Actually he's $10 more than the Medicom Fetts... but that's not much of a price difference when you're talking about high-end figures.

Iconic characters such as this... it's a must buy no?! I was at first a little put off with his arms. But the weathering of his clothing is outstanding. Count me in for a PO!

I'm not excited about the $160 price, but it seems about right given the complexities of getting this figure right and the added bonus of the base. IG-88 and Grievous are also exceptions because of the complexities involved there.

Personally, I don't think we'll see all Star Wars releases up in this range permanently since Gree and Bly are still in the $120-$130 range.

However, the days of under $100 figures are limited, if not over, primarily because SSC has been looking to take on more and more complex projects which most fans have been excited about and wanting.

What I'm personally most curious about is what is going to happen with the humanoid characters given the recent HT collaboration announcement. Is SSC done making humanoids with this partnership now?

Only downside to the new bodies is the ratchet knees... not a deal breaker, but it does somewhat limit posing options.

But aside from that the Prometheus is now a really good base body.

...But the armor bodies don't have the ratchet knees now, do they? The latest armored figure I got was the Orange Sandie, so I don't know if the current clones have those knees or not.

I honestly don't think it looks that great. The body proportions are weird, he looks...I dunno, kind of fat.

Just me?

I thought the same thing. He does look a little squat and stocky, which made be wonder if he's on a regular pro and not the armor body.

Well I've done some reseach and I've found that Hasbro made one, then I saw a 1/6 scale one (don't know who makes it) then SS ph Han that lights up. I'm just trying to figure out which is the best or if there are anymore out I don't know about.
