I've seen it as the opposite, with the shins not being pushed up on the knee joints all the way.
x2. We've seen this already with this figure, a few pages back. ^^This is the solution.

Wow, the amazing pics keep coming!
Here's an updated pic of mine after one last mod. yesterday to separate the collar armor from the chest armor.

Great pic Nazgul! I can't get over how Fett's blaster looks real in so many pics.
Looks great Nazgul, what exactly did you do to seperate the collar armor? Did you enlarge the screw holes on the back plate? Mine has the same issue and I have been thinking about doing that.
***EDIT*** NM, just saw your post in the modding/fixing thread...just as I suspected. Good job!
After a couple weeks of pouring over all Fett photos here, it's undeniable to me that both Sideshow's & Medicom's versions have their share of pluses & minuses.
SSC wins out over paint, costuming details & accessories but misses the mark on the vest, Wookiee scalps, helmet sculpt & the resulting shade of green on it & the chest armor. The Medicom Fett, while on the diminutive size, is more accurate to how Jeremy Bulloch looked in the costume (it's easy to forget how the characters actually looked in the movie when we spend so much time looking at how they've been represented in various merchandising form). The RAH body also takes on more natural, human-like poses than the Prometheus body. However, after years of owning the ESB version, I've experienced broken darts on his knee armor as well as a shoulder joint to the body. I was honestly hoping the Sideshow figure was going to be a home-run compared to the Sideshow, but it looks like I may have to kit-bash parts from both figures & put it on a Hot Toys body.
Out of the various ways I've seen Boba Fett done in 1/6 scale, one of the easiest solutions for an ESB version has got to be what mah45 did by putting a newer Medicom Massive2 body onto the older RAH figure.
Compare it to Wor-Gar's ESB shot here:
here's a couple of my quick pics ....
Wow it's amazing how much more the Medicom got RIGHT (the paint, helmet) than Sideshow. I may have to pick one up now and try to Frankenstein it with the Sideshow figure.
LOVE that pic!
I realized the other day that Boba was exactly 3X the cost of Boussh (though five years between releases)!
Great pic - the Boba head tilt...
Just noticed that "step" in the middle of the rifle barrel - the ESB prop rifle doesn't have that step and I'm wondering if it somehow links to manufacturing the "prototype rifle" (the short one which came with the Kenner 1978 Boba) - SSC is presumably doing that version of Boba soon? That step seems like it's about at the end of the barrel for that proto gun. Not sure why else it would be there.
Yeah, yeah, starting at the medicom version is like looking at a still from the movi.....ah..*teehee*, *laughs*, *pwl*, ROFLMFAOROFLMFAOROFLMFAOROFLMFAOROFLMFAOROFLMFAOROFLMFAO. Good one, man! Good one!!! Oh, wait, were you being serious?!?!?!?
You know, my post was actually meant more to compliment the merits of the Sideshow figure, but I guess the photo comparison ended up making it more about the Medicom figure. Sorry, guys.
On that note, I was planning on placing an order with Monsters In Motion for the SSC Fett today (where it was priced at a ridiculously reasonable $124.99) after realizing over the weekend that getting all the parts I wanted from Toy Anxiety would cost me nearly as much. But, lo & behold, not only did MIM sell out but so did TA of most of the parts I wanted. Obviously, the criticisms leveled at this figure here haven't hurt sales, leaving me with nothing at this point but a broken RAH Fett.

What!? When was it priced that? It's $174.99 now.
