Jim, did you replace the velcro on the white undershirt as well or just the vest and pants?

Great mods in here. Can't wait to pick mine up later from the UPS store. Sorry if this has been already answered, but would any knock off slim body work instead of the HT pricey one? Stealing some of these great ideas for sure. Now I'll definitely get a Taun Taun.

Rory that looks unreal! Is that the original Sideshow head or the Hot Toys DX mod?

Beautiful, Rory! Just beautiful!:clap

I have no issues with the Hot Toys sculpt. Love that serious, cautious look. Really goes with the figure there! Great job!

Thanks!

It's the HT sculpt, one major benefit of the HT sculpt is that it allows you to have Luke looking sideways, to the distance, which has always been a bit iconic to me. I guess some great painter will redo the eyes on the SS sculpt to do the same.

I look forward to that and doing it to mine as well. :D

Yeah, I think some cool snow effects will really set it off, I'm thinking of adding snot to the tauntaun as well. :lol

Thanks Rory. I saw them this morning and thought, "Perfect!"

I only replaced the vest and bottom button on the pants. It's the one that shows. Not the one under the vest at the waist. Left that one alone.

Here are a few pics of my magnet system hat as well.

These show the areas I had to trim in order to fit the HT head. Also I used blue tack to secure the metal piece for the magnet. Works pretty good so far.

It's not as tight as I would like but it'll do for now. I still want to be able to take it off and attach the hair.

The SSC belt is a bit too big. And rightly so. It's designed to go around the bulky Hoth out fit. You can always move the Velcro to make it tighter but to make it truly fit I think you'd have to overlap the saber hook with the buckle.

I used the leftover piece of the hatted head to make this head sculpt. So there is no ball joint. I'd have to use the back piece to create a socket for the neck connector. Right now it's just sitting on top of the neck balance by the collar.

THANK YOU.

You answered to all the questions I could ask to myself!

Thanks, man.
