I can't for the life of me see how you like this figure... but I'm pleased for you that you do. I guess the argument I had with my girlfriend last week - (it's blue and black! No, it's gold and cream!) is a great reminder for me of how we all see things differently.

I'm not liking the BD sculpt for sure (though to be fair, Hamill's face was swollen and quite bloodied after Wampa,) but the rest of the figure looks pretty great to me, and is an okay value. Go to eBay and look up what a lit Luke saber and a Luke gunbelt is going for. This comes with two sabers, the gunbelt and pistol, and they should be close to HT quality.

This fig appears to me to be the luck of the draw with the eyes (like Han Hoth) - some look quite bad, others look pretty good. Hope I luck out with decent eyes on both my figs.:panic:

I've seen pics of both Luke and Han that make me really excited for them to arrive, then I've seen others that make me want to cancel. My guess is it's a combination of pics of widely varying quality (some distorted cellphone pics, bad lighting etc) and also sculpts of widely varying quality. If you can't see the potential for these figs in Stealth or Paramore's pics, then you obviously won't be happy with it. To me, Han looked incredible in some of those pics, and Luke hasn't quite had his moment to shine yet.

Paramoremcr88 has confirmed to me that he is, a simple swap of bodies should correct the heights thankfully by the looks of it.

It was likely an intentional move to get people to buy the Tauntaun. Pose Luke on the Tauntaun and you won't see his excessive height. Hmmmm.

Luke weathered up too

SS should refund the money you paid for the figures. Your pics are a reason I am keeping my PO's (probably others as well)

Up close they look suspect while from a distance, using shadow they look magnificent. Too bad I am dropping $200+ for figs that look great from a distance in the shadow......did that once before as well. Who was it..............? ...........oh yea, HT Indiana Jones :lol

Every figure, and I don't are who makes it, looks much better with shadow detail. I advocate this all the time - don't blow out your displays with too much light.

Jason, that's your pic of Luke and Han right? Two things:

1) Did you find a way to push Luke's rank badge down further in to the chest pocket window?!? How did you do that?

2) WTF is up with Luke's height?!? He's meant to be bloody shorter than Han for crying out loud!! Did Sideshow decide to forget about accurate scale for these two figures?!!?

Agreed. However many are solid stand alone figs which don't require as much "hiding." Either way, I am looking forward to adding these two

Simple really, you swap Han's body with Luke's --problem solved...

Plus it forces you to properly futz and understand how the underlying bodies work.

This Luke would be noticeably taller than the Bespin Luke though since next to Han, Bespin Luke was slightly shorter. If the heights are really reversed that's pretty idiotic but a simple fix since I plan to get both. Hopefully the tailoring still looks nice. Otherwise I'll just banish Luke to the Tauntaun.

Just put Han on a cheap narrow shoulder and he'll be right relative to Bespin Luke and Hoth Luke.

On that body he'll be about the correct height, but the others will still be too tall.

I'm not sure why Sideshow would be using two different bodies on these figures unless they had planned to make Luke shorter. And if that's the case, how/why would the bodies have been swapped at the factory?

Seeing them in other photos I just guessed they'd used the same generic '12"' body for both.
