Look at the picture of the real Hamill above, that doesn't look bulky at all.

Yes. :lecture Hate or love the HT head, that's subjective. Everyone has an opinion, all are valid, except Wor-Gars'. But the body/costume was not bulky at all. In fact I'm looking for ways to debulk it even more.

Anyway gents, I will take my custom and leave, I only posted pics of it WIP because I was asked too. I will post some pics over on my own cave thread when I start to work it up, if anyone is interested.

Adieu.

I don't know. Looking here, I don't think he's bulky enough:

Man, I think that headsculpt is horrendous. They really need to nix the eye system it's not doing them any favors. Before with Sideshow you could always get a repaint to get the sculpt to look good if it had a decent likeness. Now, you run the risk of not only getting a crap paint job but a malformed head or bulging wonk eyes! :lol WTF.

I already have a custom Hoth Luke using the HT Bespin head and Hasbro Hoth clothing. After seeing Rory's pics, I think I clearly know what to do. I am going to switch outfits off of the SS Hoth Luke onto the HT Bespin Luke body and using the HT head sculpt. Then I weather with snow. Done and done. :)

I'm going to try and distort the sculpt, it worked reasonably well on HT Indy.

How do you distort a sculpt? I thought plastic always returned to the original shape it was moulded into no matter what you did to it, at least that's been my experience with very low-rent Doctor Who and Hasbro Star Wars customs.

At this point I'm just going to wait to see what I get in-hand. These heads are all over the place. The close up Rory posted earlier has one eye that is very badly distorted and 30% wider open than the other eye. Luck of the draw I guess.

Interesting how the unhatted head looks a little too small for the body in most pics. Maybe it's the oversize SSC body?

New pics of production up at sideshow blog:

That BD head looks better there.
