re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun

Just saw a video from SDCC where it said not only are the TaunTaun's head's swappable, but you can swap out the horns as well. So either the forward looking or to the side looking head can be displayed with two full horns or one broken horn.

And is this said video available for us minions to view as well?

Just go to YouTube and search for a hot chix review video. They have a couple from SDCC talking about the Taun Taun and vader and the Echo Base figures and an in depth look at Grievous as well...

Thanks for that. I had watched this before, but I had the sound turned down because I was at work. :slap

They look awesome, hope the production run is the same as these prototypes.

Nice. The commentary along with the video was an especially nice feature.

re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun

Anybody else feel the eyes are too squinty? The full scale tauntaun head had very large cattle like eyes.

Oops. Tried to repost the video in the ESB Vader section.

Great little video with some cool info.

re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun

These will be nice to have, but I hope the tau taun have a little more articulation than the dewback

re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun

It's a statue, like Dewy. You can switch out the heads and horns, but there is no articulation. Personally I think that's the right call, unless they had gone with real fur to hide the joints. Not really a whole lot of need for articulation with these, either. They're props, more or less.

re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun

I'm wondering if these will be much bigger than the Hasbro 12" scale ones?
