Some people are just knucleheads and like to stir up s**t....they are easy to ignore because their intentions are all too clear.

Anyone who doesn't think this is an outstanding reproduction of The Joker...especially at 1/6 scale...is just plain nuts. Sure, you could nitpick it to death if you care too. You could complain about the price of it too. But the fact of the matter is, it is a unique work of art & a one of a kind item to own. Kudos to Bobby for his creation to congrats to those who had a chance to own one.

The funniest part about this is some people are so petty as to complain about members sig pics over this; Jeezus, just get a shotgun & blow your brains out right now, because you have no life. That's the most childish thing I've encountered on this board.

Actually having said all that I definitely have some joker related hate to dish out on my own...

It doesn't confuse me why guys obsess over joker heads that have expressions and what not, that I can understand, but I will never for the life of me get why people send their hot toys jokers to masters like Josh Small or Boot25.

Of course those guys kill it and it looks awesome but I'm all honestly no real better than the paint job it came with. Like why!??

If I'm gonna get something I'm front of Josh or John it's Either something unpainted or a piece of crap sideshow head they will make lOok amazing. Not an already amazing head??

Bobby , believe it or not but we CM collectors are fans of you work !
And you really shouldn't hold so much grudge against Jet because all of this is based on a misunderstanding .

Your 1/6 Joker headsculpt is a work of art , is it perfect ? No !
I know it and you know it, otherwise you wouldn't have refined the sculpt on the 1/3 version !
(and believe me Heath as the joker is a difficult sculpt ,I tried sculpting a 1/4 head and I'm still not pleased with it)
But that is just the way it works , when you are an artist everytime you sculpt
something new you try to make it better than the last sculpt you made !

I won't debate on the price you are asking but I feel that everybody should determine for
themselves what they are prepared to pay for a piece !

Keep up the good work and let's try to give each other constructive
comments and stop with bashing each other's stuff

The only thing you guys are proving is that
A: you have no taste or
B: You need glasses.

SHOW US SOMETHING BETTER PLEASE, go on, please post what 1/6th head you think is better than Bobbys work otherwise take it somewhere else.

This is my point Mirak, this is an obvious statement but we still have to listen to the crap from the owners of these HT heads, sorry I would only listen to somebody that owns a better more life like Joker in 1/6 scale but we all know this is the only one available, so what does this result in? I'm not sure if it's jealousy .
Some people have an image in their mind of how a person or charachter should look ,
and I actually think that these persons believe and are convinced that the HT versions
are better , reality is that they are not better !
But I think that if these persons would see the 2 next to each other in real life that they
would pick out Bobby's as the best headsculpt.
It's also really difficult to capture a likeness with pics (Neo's are the best I have seen so far) ,
it's the same with CM's you have to see them to appreciate them ( I know you are not
into CM's but believe me when I say that the Superman isn't a piece of crap ) .

Hot Toys has come a long way since they first started. Does this mean the people who bought their first attempts at figs like their Prison Break license should feel gipped (baggy clothes, meh head sculpts, etc)? Artists always try to improve their work, but it doesn't mean they can't make/sell things while improving. Sideshow is another good example of a company that has come a long way since they first started. Compare the first two PF Lukes to the Jedi luke. Does that mean they shouldn't have been charging the prices they did with the first 2 Lukes because it took until the 3rd to get it right (bad/good pose debate aside)? Like Bobby said, he is going to improve his work in 1/6, but so does everybody else with whatever they're working on in any scale.

I've been on the boards for a long time and I'm sick of the negativity that breeds in threads like these. I don't understand the hate for bobby c and this sculpt. What's more puzzling are the hypocrites that come into this thread and hurl insults at the guys that purchased the 1/6th heads at the prices they did. To those people, get a life and a clue. It's their money and whatever they choose to spend it on is their business and their business alone. I don't understand the rationale and I don't comprehend your utter stupidity...

Did you miss the sentence that the NEXT 10 will be the Reeve head? If you wanted a chance at owning a Joker head at this scale made by Bobby, this was it. These 10 guys decided they wanted it, and bought. They are all incredibly happy with said purchase according to their posts. Bobby has offered a refund in full for anyone that isn't happy with the quality. He's offered to make modifications to anything on the current head if anyone is not happy. So where is the problem here? You can't go through a thread and cherry pick lines to try and build an arguement against a guy you obviously have a beef with. Every artist I know and have met is never satisfied with their work. Double the quality in Bobby's eyes may be something that we wouldn't even notice, but he would as it's his work. We don't know and it shouldn't be a discussion in here. You, Vodoun and a couple of other guys want to come in here and rain on a groups parade for whatever reason. Truth of the matter is, yeah they are throwing it back as well, but there has to be something to throw back at first, which shouldn't exist in here. This isn't a thread for an economic debate, or a philosophical discussion on value. A product was offered, a product was delivered, and 10 people couldn't be happier. Let them enjoy it and leave the vendetta at the door.

I haven't seen any real GOOD shots of this (Neo's a cool stylistically, but I'd like to see it big and clear and not big and blurry or grainy) Anyone got a decent SLR camera than can post crisp clean big pics?

Also you DON'T have to post it here if it's just going to fuel more hate, you can PM or email me them.. mostly I'm curious about the materials process and craftsmanship because i find it interesting, but feel all the pics i'm seeing here don't have the best quality.

Joker looks so odd in the reflection with his hair swooped to the other side (and before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, that wasn't meant as a negative comment, just found it amusing!)
