I LOVED IT!
Then again, I believe there was a civilization (among others) that predates Ancient Egypt, so I would like it. But as just an entertainment alone, I had a blast.
Go see it if you wanna see some cool action you don't see every day, namely, a woolly mammoth hunt and more. Plus, some very cool early tribal bada$$es that made it work for me.
Loved it. It won't make much money I'll bet, but it was a lot of fun.

Yea, I saw it at a screening about 6 months ago and it wasn't bad. Wasn't great, but wasn't bad. If you like The Day After Tomorrow or Independence Day (Emmerich's other movies) you'll probably enjoy this movie

If it's not giving anything big away what is the plot? I think the advertising for it kinda sucks, at least the TV commericals I've seen. All I can tell from the commercials is that there's a fella in a loincloth and a wooly mammoths and sabertooth tigers and temple looking place of some sort.

From what I heard it sucks, especially with an 8% on rottentomatoes. Really I only want to see it because of the effects. I'm still wondering what the plot is, the trailers didn't do more than just show the setting and effects.

I actually planned on seeing it tonight (waiter took forever bringing me my bill and missed the 8p showing). Not really looking for a life-changing film, just something fun to watch... will try again tomorrow.

Just got back from seeing it and thought it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.:monkey4 Just awful. The CGI wasn't all that great and the acting was worse and the plot was just laughable.
I'm not knockin anybody who happened to like it but if I hadn't of been there with a buddy I would have walked out of this one.

I will never see such drivel. I hated Independence Day, and was pissy when my buddies forced me to go see a Day After Tomorrow. Knew it would suck balls, and it did... no surprise there!

Knowing these are the same folks that made those craptastic films, I decided to stay clear from 10,000 BC. Without reading any reviews or seeing this movie, I can with tremendous confidence that it sucks!

I did see The Bank Job. Now that's a great movie!

I liked Independence Day a lot, although not much else from Emmerich. But I can usually find something to enjoy in a big budget spectacle. Unfortunately that wasn't the case with this film. The girl is better looking than Megan Fox, but instead of sentient robots they had woolly mammoth. Just doesn't work as well for mindless entertainment.

The plot is just like any prehistoric romantic comedy - boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy really, really loses girl, boy goes to war with an advanced civiliation (well, advanced for him, he's a cave man after all).

I knew this would be a flop ( called it a few days ago in the Dark Knight thread) from the first trailer I saw. If people were really interested in cavemen, museums would be more popular.

I was planing on seeing this next Saturday with a bunch of friends. But after the response it's gotten, i feel like saving my $30 for something else.

So this movie will probably not generate enough interest in Cavemen to bring back the Cavemen TV show :monkey2 This might have been my last hope to see that show again...
