I think I actually like the the Sideshow Dewback's head a little better than the real one.
I really enjoyed getting a chance to paint a Sandtrooper for this amazing piece. I couldn't be happier with how well he looks atop that beast. And it wasn't just a matter of dirtying up a clean Stormy. I got completely raw, unassembled parts for this; everything from a six part helmet, to the individual halves of every piece of his armor and back pack. Matching the blue/green on the packs was a trick, and getting that subtle hint of green in the lenses was fun (just enough to make it accurate, but not enough to upset LFL, who now seems to think the lenses were never green).
I'm kind of shocked that this isn't a SDCC reveal. What could top this?

Oh, I know of one or two things.
So the difference between this Sandtrooper and the previously released version that you alluded to last week, can we see that difference in this shot?

Looks like I picked a great year to go to SDCC. I can't wait to see this beast in person!
