If only they had the sense to wear helmets when riding their bikes. Die from a head injury suffered from a bicycle crash, but don't die from being shot!

And yet if they crashed and died I'm sure anti-gun activists would be blaming the guns and calling for more gun control. :lol

Maine too. Doesn't mean that minors genuinely need to wear helmets (that is, unless they're special).

You wear a helmet when you were a kid? Me either.

I wore one when on the dirt track, but off it, no. But then, I don't remember there being as many drunk drivers targeting kids on bicycles as there are nowadays and there weren't any idiot drivers texting and yapping on their cellphones either.

I only rode in my neighborhood (cul-de-sac) and in the woods.

There was a kid killed here about 15 years ago. Drunk driver, middle of the day. Kid was a high school senior planning to attend Boston University for journalism in the fall. About 5 years ago, I saw the driver in the paper again. He had just received his ninth DUI.

I don't understand why that's not an instant Murder in the Third Degree charge. They make a conscious decision to drive to the bar to drink, knowing they'll be getting drunk and then be driving home. Yet those ____s always play up the "I have a disease" card as if it's a justifiable excuse for killing someone.

And the state accepts that because they know multiple DUI's will put more money in their pocket than would long-term incarceration.

____ing sick.

I think someone in this thread made a statement about 'flawless, retributive justice' being simplistic and absurd. Perhaps Maine concurs.

I know this woman is probably not considered an epic beauty, but for some reason she kinda seems sexy with that gun. Kind of turns me on.

Doesn't look like you'd have much of a choice if she didn't. :dunno :lol

On a side note, is it just me? Or does the cylinder not line up with the barrel on that revolver? :lol

picture.php

:lol, I can see that, but the cylinder looks a little high for the chamber to line up with the barrel. :huh

I think it does line up. Part of it is an optical illusion due to the perspective.
I think the frame of the gun is slightly concave underneath the cylinder. it would also explain why no light can be seen under the cylinder.
