I'm not trying to label any one thing as being "bad" or "evil". I think it would probably be apparent and squashed if there was.

I think that's why you guys are having a problem with my argument. You think I'm saying its 1 or 2 things and I need to point it out to you to make my point.

What I'm saying is its not an individual thing, but rather the culmination of 100s of years of societal development through so many generations each one seemingly getting weirder and more depraved.

Am I saying it needs to be changed right now, and we need to find an answer or like in Serenity deploy the Pax or something?

What I am saying is that I think our society is in a spiral downward and it would be awesome if collectively we figured out how to slow or reverse the process.

Personally, I'm not so proud or naive of our generation to think we're as good as a society as my grandparents'.

I think a huge part in this is our government doing everything in their power to slowly bleed our freedoms out of our very bodies.

Our grandparents fought for our freedoms. Today our younger generation applauds it being taken away as they accept the free hand outs the government gives them.

seems like a snipe hunt to me. Is our generation better then our grandparents? Nope. Is any of that causing men to go crazy and kill? doubtful. Manson wasn't my generation. Lucian Staniak The Red Spider wasn't my generation. Wayne Clifford Boden nicknamed "The Vampire Killer also wasn't in my generation. They were all in my Grandfather's. The difference between then and now is the media has changed. If my grandfather's time there was very little media, and it took a lot longer for news to spread. When I was growing up there were a few channels and most of the actually vetted their information before broadcasting it. In today's society everything is sensationalized, facts are not checked, and people are updated (both with facts and speculation presented as fact) instantaneously. That and people trying to find the blame in society instead of holding people accountable.

Where do you suggest we get back to good old fashioned values? Slavery? putting women back in their place? Or maybe start killing people on our borders for land expansion?
