I fully intend to pick up my pre-orders and any exclusives that I want right away and go put them in my car. If they allow that on preview night...cool. At least 1/2 of another day will be spent trying to milk info from the SSC team. I stayed and talked with the staff for a few hours one day last year and it was really interesting. I got a lot of great info about everything from how they chose what figure to do next, to how some of the artists agree or differ with what they would like to release. I even offered an idea that seemed to raise an eyebrow or 2, but I am betting, was likely thought of by others before I mentioned it.

I also really enjoyed doing the trivia contests. I won a couple of the 1:6 figures, but I gave them to kids that were near me because I already had them. I hope I can do that again this year.

but mostly, I want to learn a lot more about what Sideshow does behind-the-scenes and maybe glean a little info about how things may go in the future.

I love it when they do the Trivia Contest but as much as I know about the subjects they ask. I'm always a second too late. :lol

I guess having it in LA would be good for me, but downtown LA isn't near as nice as the Gaslamp in SD. I wouldn't need a hotel room, but it also loses that vacation feel if I'm commuting from home to the convention.

As long as they maintain that seaport atmosphere, they can do it anywhere in LA. Placing it right dab smack in downtown LA with all that smog detracts from the enjoyment afterwards. I do understand that doing it in LA may draw a bigger presence from celebs.

So, back on track with the subject, I'm all for anything Indy. Somehow anything SW does not hold its value well.

If it's to move to L.A. it will most surely be at the LACC downtown, which has tons of convention space (more than SD).

That's true, but it's mostly because the SW market has been oversaturated for several years now... so unless something is truly limited and/or in very high demand the days of SW items skyrocketing in value are pretty much over. In fact, almost everything SW declines.

I'd love for it to come to Moscone up in SF but that is probably far from the top of the list....:lol If it goes to LA it'd in theory be called LACC? Huh......doesn't have the same ring....

I believe the one they hold in Moscone in Feb is WonderCon, so fat chance they'll move up to the Bay Area.

I hate Disney. But Lucas is a legend. A living legend. First time I gave him some money, was when I was 12, watching ESB on the big screen. Best SW film ever.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I gotone on day 3 because they had the same question on day 2. The one I got on day 2 was legit. But after all...I only kept the t-shirt I won so I don't feel too guilty.

I wonder what else will be revealed! I don't want to guess about the SDCC exclusives. I rather sit and wait for SSC to tell us. That is less exhausting :D. I just hope there will be less Luke's, less Han's, and more LANDO's this year! And a roaming bellybutton cam.

No way in Hell it's an Anakin PF!!! At least I hope not. ;) I still thinks it's the Swordsmen (Raiders) Map room Indy... or a Hobbit. :)

So...Jedi? AOTC Anakin or Obi? Map Room Indy? Are those all the guesses?

He's starting to look like that Mos Eisley spy guy to me now. What's his name? Garindan? But that's a new character -- SS wouldn't do that, right?

I think you're reading too much into the shape, I think whatever is revealed will partly makes us all think "you get that shadow form that?"
