It's not true. They have a contract with SD through 2012, and then after that, they will look at possibly moving to either Anaheim or LA... or so they've said.

That sucks. I've gotten a SS Item at SDCC but that having to wait until Thursday would be horrible.

It would be if you went on PVN. This will be the first year I've been there for that so I'm looking forward to getting my items then and relaxing the rest of the time.

I didn't have a hotel that year. My hands were almost bleeding by the end of the day, and I almost couldn't get them to flex open enough to wrap them around the steering wheel for the long drive home.

SS Bags while usually one of the cooler ones and bigger ones have the worst handles. You just can't carry the bag that long without it just killing your hands. Last year there was an WB bag that just rocked!! I'll probably be bringing it with me this year.

Yes, the WB bag was THE bag to have last year. So big, yet easy to carry. Hope there is another bag like that this year.

Keep in mind that the "official" name is Comic Con International, so it could be held anywhere and still keep it's "official" name.

Not one of the product types included in Sideshow's license:

Sideshow's product line will be inclusive of all four Indiana Jones films and will include 12-inch Figures, Premium Format Figures, and Life-size Busts

A mini bust would be Gentle Giant's territory.

A 1:1 bust would be possible from Sideshow, but I don't see that happening as a Comic Con exclusive.
