Just came back from Target and they had 24 seasons 1, 2 and 3. Picked up 2 and 3 and will pick up 1 when they restock the limited edition tin case that was sold out, it was also $20. I'm gonna have a little 24 marathon.

I was just contemplating how much Jack Bauer's life sucks. Kim is pretty much the only thing he has left. Every single friend, lover, family member has left him or betrayed him. Wife got shot by his "one night stand" turned traitor, girlfriend Audrey presumably left him because she couldn't handle his craziness, his brother and father were traitors and tried to kill him.

Kim's going to tell him her daughter's name is Teri, and he's just going to break, he's going to lose it, but in a good way, kind of. I just imagine it really testing his sanity, or resolve, I guess. Hopefully he shoots Tony first. Yeesh . . two years ago I was pissed they killed him off, now I can't wait for him to be dead again.

Wow, I just refreshed myself with that story on Wikipedia, and I remember NONE of that. I didn't think S6 was so bad that I blocked it out of my memory.

Tony has turned into a real boo hiss villain. Jack should have known he'd get a seizure at just the wrong moment - doesn't he know its only hour 19? Of course Tony was gonna get away. I'm not sure if its a believable direction for the latter's character - if the likes of what happened to him can make people lose all care in the world then jack should have rivalled adolf hitler 2 or 3 seasons ago. Nevertheless I continue to enjoy the show. And the Enterbay figure kicks ass, especially with the medicom day 5 clothes.

I've decided I'm getting tired of 24. The Juma/Dubaku thread was fun, but the gov't stuff just gets old, the President always being one step behind, if I had a nickel for everytime she said "Let me know the minute it happens" or "How did this happen?", she always wants to know how and when stuff happens, that all she says.

I'm especially not a fan of how it looks like they're making Pierce the one who blew up Hodges' car. Hopefully, they don't have him come out and tell Olivia "I did it for you", just leave it ambiguous. Pierce is the one guy with a heart of gold in this show, he's not a killer.

I hope next season is the last.

I really don't think it was Pierce, it's completely out of character for him. I'm thinking it was someone (perhaps the Marshall) who is working for the cabal.

It is interesting that they are going out of their way to have positive Muslim characters. They're doing a good job with it and making it fit into the story - it's a bit unexpected for the series.

Just the way the camera lingers on Pierce and the way he looks at the camera, it makes me think that they're trying to build this storyline where Pierce is an overprotective agent who's trying to do too much for Olivia. But, they haven't done anything too outlandish (character-wise) this season, soooo, I really hope they don't go that way.

Yeah, I remember there was a bit of a brouhaha over the Muslim family from, I believe, Season 5. The actress who played the mother was famous from many positive Muslim roles or something, and she was playing a terrorist and many of her fans were upset about why she'd agree to such a "typical Muslim terrorist".

Pierce is a smart guy. I'm sure he'll figure things out and take down the annoying daughter himself. I've lost most of my enthusiasm from this season. I wish it stayed in Africa. Now I have it on, but just listen to it while I do something else.

Some really weak writing with Kim at the airport.
Ditzzy blonde actually spotted trained surveillance officer then bumps into the people that are there to abduct her then goes out of her way to sit next to them.
