Some really weak writing with Kim at the airport.
Ditzzy blonde actually spotted trained surveillance officer then bumps into the people that are there to abduct her then goes out of her way to sit next to them.
What horse^^^^.:banghead

But that is how Kim has always been. Seemed reasonable to me :lol

At least they aren't cougar-people... or are they?

So I was looking in the Sunday paper today and noticed that the DVD and Blu-ray season 7 set comes out on Tuesday. That's like, the fastest I've ever seen them put out a whole season for any tv show. One day after the season finale?!!:horror

Well, they pretty much redeemed Tony

Such a downer finale, but it was really good. Really, really good.

Except for Kim chasing after the bad guy, such a typical dumb Kim move, but at least she ended up saving the day.

Yeah, instead of being a ********* traitor, he's now just a ********* blinded by revenge.

:lol

What a great season. Loved it from the beginning.

SPOILER:

I even liked what they did with Tony in the end. Revenge. I can easily see why he did what he did.

Loved it....I just wish he would have got the chance to kill him.

SPOILERS

I sort of expected a "oh, Tony is trying to bring down the cabal" moment, but what they did was better. He's still evil but at least we get his motivation.

I know there's been a bit of backlash against this season, but I still feel it's probably their 2nd strongest full season overall. And there's plenty of stuff still hanging for 8.

The cabal is still around and I'm sure we'll see Renee suffering from her torturing, if Cuthbert is still around I'm betting Kim is crippled in some way from the treatment that saves Jack - because he doesn't have enough guilt...

And I'm hoping that Olivia is still on the show - I'm betting she goes to prison but her mom pardons her when she leaves office - so she'll just be getting out of prison and be hellbent on revenge against Aaron and the Chief of Staff.

Watched it. Meh. The season, as with last season, wound down after the mid-point excitement. This year it was the white house siege and jon voight at Starkwood where my enjoyment peaked. In season 6 it was the nuke going off. Then it felt like the primary load had been shot.

Wound down after the mid-point excitement?

Well I thought it really started after that mid-point! the first part was just okay. What they did in the second part was very good!

somehow, this seasons shares the same flaws as season 3 (a boring first part) and season 4 (too many terrorists attacks). That why I would rate it in a tie with them.
So here's my rating for the 7 days:

- Day 2
- Day 5
- Day 1
- Day 3 and 7
- Day 4
- Day 6

Oh, and in the end, I know it's wrong, but I'm with Tony...

Controversial! :D

I think he went too far. Jack lost his wife and unborn child too and he didn't suddenly decide that the end would justify the means. 'End' being getting to the man who ordered her killed, 'means' being facilitating terrorist attacks and personally killing FBI agents.

Wow, I thought the first 7 hours of this season were the best part. Edge of the seat exciting. As it got more complex and they moved from threat to threat it got less interesting for me.

I can't really rate them, I know that I really liked 5, and hated 6 - but otherwise I couldn't place them in order.

Turns out a deleted scene will be on the season dvd set thats controversial:
The scene with Jacks death bed "confession/forgiveness." Turns out God shows up
and says"No,no,Jack. Its me who should be thanking you. Hell's filling up with so many
evil doers youve busted caps in the angel of Death is screaming about overtime.
So Im not going to let you die, 'sides the devil thinks you'll waterboard him over
the whole garden of eden thing. Or shoot him in the knee screaming
"Wheres the Apple?!" So Im not going to let you die. Youll be back for season 8 baby"

The finale was ok.
Jacks gettin soft.
Bet Jack will be getting a certain red headed love interest next year.
The couple that tortures together stays together.....

Actually, it's not the first seven episodes I didn't like. I think they were cool! What I liked less is the whole White House arc. It was fun to watch, but even if 24 is full of impossible things, I guess that this one tops the cake. The WH has got to be one of the best protected place in the world, and just like the CTU attack, terrorist manage to get in from the sewers. So, fun yes, but really too much! Besides, I think that Juma was really under-exploited. From the start we expect him to kick ass when he appears, and the whole arc is solved in two episodes.

BTW, that's also what I meant by too many terrorist attacks. When there's too many of them, I think it undermines the credibility of the threat. The terrorists appear as inefficient and lose their edge.

Spoiler season 8:

Season 8 will pick up approx 2 months after the events of Season 7. A new CTU is coming online in New York City amidst a growing crisis involving the United Nations and a powerful middle eastern diplomat with key information on the shadowy military group behind last season’s threat. Agent Renee Walker returns with the new counter terrorist unit working alongside a recuperating and reluctant Jack Bauer (who has bouts of seizures and a slight limp from his brush with death last season) who is charged with protecting the charismatic diplomat.

Scoop: Katee Sackhoff makes time for '24'
Jun 8, 2009, 03:11 PM | by Michael Ausiello

Suddenly, I find myself counting the minutes until 24's new season. Perhaps this is why: Katee Sackhoff is joining the cast!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the Battlestar Galactica heroine has been tapped to play the series regular role of Dana Walsh, a highly respected and down-to-earth data analyst at the new and improved New York branch of CTU.

Translation: Chloe-Starbuck catfight alert!

This fraktastic casting coup hit a road block last week when Sackhoff abruptly took herself out of the running, prompting me to post this blind item. But late Friday, word surfaced that the BSG badass was once again in the mix.

Here's more scoop on Sackhoff's character...

She's in a relationship with fellow agent Davis Cole (played by the just-cast Freddie Prinze. Jr.), and she apparently has a skeleton in her closet she's trying desperately to keep hidden.

As I previously reported, 24's eighth season -- which premieres Jan. 17, 2010 -- will be set in the Big Apple and center on an assassination plot against a visiting foreign leader (Slumdog Millionaire's Anil Kapoor). In addition to Sackhoff and Prinze, new Day 8 blood includes Forrest Gump's Mykelti Williamson, Kissing Jessica Stein's Jennifer Westfeldt (as a journalist with ties to Kapoor's diplomat), and The Starter Wife's Chris Diamantopoulos (as President Taylor's Chief of Staff).
