2K FOR AN AMAZING 1/2 hULK SCULPT WILL BE A BUY,IF NOT TOTALLY BAD ASS,PASS.

Pretty much sum up my feelings on 2K LSF's...

"Can't Do It!"

I wonder if it will change anybody's mind if they do put an edition size on this line. What if they put an ES of 100, would that make a difference?

It would make me think about it, but then I would give myself a slap to remind me of the $2k price tag.

If they set an ES of 100, this will be the next Optimus Prime Ex.

This is the main reason I'm giving some real consideration into having my deposit for the War Machine 1:1 bust moved to another item. Having an ES attached is a huge deal for me. I just would like to know how limited something is when paying $1000's for a collectible. I'm sure the Mona Lisa wouldn't be near as valuable if there were more originals floating around. I'm just saying, if SSC makes let say, 1500 of these. Then I wouldn't think of spending $2,000 for something that has that many produced in a run.

That's just the way that I choose to collect...:lecture

Talked to Jaclyn from SSC and she said Darth Maul LSF will be made to order like 1:2 IM. So likely it will be an open edition size.

I saw one on ebay, I think it was an AP (Artist Proof) from China. :monkey1

But in all honesty though, my thought process on acquiring a LSF would be based on the following:

- Attachment to the character
- How well the piece is done
- Space

I really wouldn't mind the ES since I don't base my purchases on that.
It would be nice to have a set ES or better yet a lower one but still that wouldn't stop me from getting an LSF. Say in a twisted reality were everyone could get a clone of Megan Fox, would you turn that opportunity down if you found out how many people are getting their own clones of Megan Fox? (I know some might not like Megan Fox, just substitute of who you like at the moment) I mean I'd get 2 just incase.

Stupid analogy but you get what I mean.

Damn near had me choke on my Monster...:lol

I would have to agree with you on your points of purchases. If SSC made a Deadpool or the Big "A", oh boy I think I'd be in trouble, and very seriously conflicted with turmoil. Especially with no ES, but I'm sure I'd bite the bullet and buy regardless of ES or not.

OK, I'll retract some of my previous statement. I guess this line you'd really have to go off your points of purchase. I love Deadpool and the Big "A" that much that I would pretty much buy blindly. I know that I wouldn't be able to not purchase those two for sure...:cuckoo: I guess that's the SICKNESS for ya!

I just noticed the weight/height of the Darth Maul LSF is 31 pounds and 36 inches tall.

Skaar PF is the same weight at 31 pounds. The Maul LSF must be really hollow to have that weight at 36 inches tall. After seeing the specs on these things $2k seems even more insane.

It may not be accurate. They sometimes put up random specs for some reason.

It is interesting in the description they list it at 40 inches and in the specs it has it listed at 36 inches. Which is it?

Maybe the prototype is 40 inches but collectors will get the 36 inches version. Either way Sideshow is covered.

On a more serious note don't worry about the specs. Sideshow sometimes really messes up with the specs. If enough people email Sideshow about it I'm sure Sideshow will let you guys know.

These things I doubt are completely polystone like most PF's. I think they really went multi-media with these. Also, they only deliver by freight pallet? I read the Iron Man has a lot of plastic and fiberglass so he is probably not that heavy.
