I apologize for the wall of the text. I forgot the last time I had the chance to talk this in depth about 3.75
Snowspeeder and Luke & Dack look amazing but, sorry, I aint touching another scale of Star Wars toy. I've put far too much time and money into 3.75.
I'm also reluctant to take a chance on waiting for clearance for the Slave One having missed this big version twice before it seems. The promo-shots look excellent.
Smart decision. I went down this 6" path and at the end of the road was $700 gone and the figures in the boxes, never to be displayed again. That money could have gone a long ways in grabbing more older 3.75 stuff or more Hot Toys. I regret it and need to sell.
No interest in 6 inch. I'm not sure why they even bothered renewing the license. Maybe they had to in order to keep Marvel.
Must be. No other logical explanation. Outside of a few shock reveals like this Snowspeeder, it seems like the bare minimum is given to the SW line anymore. Go back 10-15 years, the modern golden age of 3.75. We should be in Golden Age Part 2 with the ST, Mando, Clone Wars.... and all we get is 2 figures. One of which I think is a repack.
I also think this is true as well. It does seem like they're trying to kill it. I just don't get the logic behind an $89 Tie Fighter, $100 X-Wing and a $150 Slave 1. That used to be reserved for the BIG vehicle/playsets like the Falcon and AT-AT, not the smaller ships. I can see a price hike with all new vehicles like the Imperial Troop transport or the Imperial assault vehicle, but not these older molds that have been in existence since the 90s and 2000s. Get real.
It's just going to turn off collectors and retailers alike.
There is no real reason to charge that much outside of scamming collectors or getting a valid reason to end the line. They have 3.75 collectors by the balls. Pay these clear scalping prices or have your line die.
Yeah I couldn't believe it. They're awesome.
Then that 90s cartoon Spider-Man on the retro cardback. He looks fantastic!
Had that Spider-Man as a kid. It's awesome they are doing the 90s Spider-Man stuff. Marvel was the lone bright spot from Toy Fair today.
I truly think 6 inch will have the depth of 3.75 and do it in a shorter time.
This won't happen. There are hundreds upon hundreds of unique figures in the 3.75" line. We won't get 25% of that in the Black Series. Go scroll through jedibusiness by movie and see all the unique figures. Hell, just look at all the different Padme's. Those won't happen.
3.75 Star Wars depth will be unmatched by any toy line ever.
If they ever make a Haslab AtAt to go with this SS I swear I will recreate the tow cable scene smack in the middle of my living room fake snow and all lol
Wait why is the 6 inch SS cheaper than the 3.75 S1

I had this done with my 3.75 inch stuff. I had to settle for a smaller Hoth display though, so crashed the snowspeeder.
That's Temeura Morrison with vintage 70s side burns to you Mr.
And that's not the point. The point is, I guarantee those are considered the "best" of the 3 3/4 versions of those characters and I know A-Dev has em'. My point is, those 6" ones I posted are the best looking action figures of those characters to bare the "Kenner/Hasbro" name to date. Better than the vintage 80s figures too. **** that Bespin Luke with the pee yellow lightsaber. Yeah, people may have nostaliga for them, but they ain't ****. Especially the retro reproduction ones that are coming out.
That new Snowspeeder Luke takes a massive dump on these baby toys
I disagree. I bet I can find a better 3.75" figure to any 6" figure you want to put up
For example, I think this 3.75" Luke is better than that 6" one.

6 inch figures have a DRASTICALLY better shelf and display presence than 3.75.
And 9/10 they're better sculpted with better details and paint.
Abd 9.9/10 they have better articulation.
If you have the room to display massive dioramas without looking like a hoarder than yes 3.75 is unbeatable. But otherwise? 6 inch is where its at.
I have had more 6" Star Wars figures break on me in 1 year than I had 3.75" stuff break in my entire time collecting. Those early 6" figures were cheap, terrible joints, bad paint apps.
I disagree about shelf presence too. A proper 3.75 display is amazing to have on your shelf.
