Heres a brutal truth for all of you who defend the NRA and guns. Atrocities like this have happened before. They will happen again. Regardless of the nationality or the age of the person pulling the trigger - it will happen in a society in which guns are plentiful, easy to get both legally and illegally and the culture has increasingly turned to glorifying violence.

And this is even more brutal. I guess 32 innocent lives in Virginia is just todays price we pay for that. You will have to ask yourself if that price is a fair one. For me, it is a price I am not willing to ever pay.

Honestly guns are the problem? I am sorry Sir then you are not very informed. Not at all. People can make bombs out of soap. I choose my words very carefully by the way. I mean it though. You can take a house hold object and blow a building to the ground. Well, I guess they should just take everything away. As for all of you posting about other countries and how they don't have a problem. I guess no one ever gets murdered where you live? Strange???

I'm sorry this thread has disintegrated into this kind of thing. One can never discuss gun control without emotions flairing up it seems.

Reading some of these posts it makes it seem that the world is Utopian except for in the states.
